This is a great little walk just out of Hawker, Flinders ranges, SA.
A well marked sure footed track up an escarpment, with great views both East and West.
5km dirt road to a car park, then a 250m long by 65 meter rise trek following a portion of the famous Heyson trail.
Two fenced view points on the trail.

Perfect view to see the township of Hawker, the plains and the surrounding mountains. Beyond the hill includes stunning views as well, part of the Heysen Trail. The climb can be a little steep but if taken slowly and gently you'll be alright.

A quick drive from Hawker. The walk is short 260m? but not easy. The views were amazing

This is a short walk up to a very scenic lookout , looks over Hawker surrounded by the ranges, would definitely recommend this walk.😀

If you are in the area this is a great walk up to an amazing view! Great look over Hawker and into the flinders. The walk is up over rocks and can be a bit tricky but is well worth it!

Near town of Hawker, great views of the expansive country with Flinders Range on the left and wide open country in front... 10 mins hike from the carpark.. moderate walk up the rocks.. Follow the markers... flies can be annoying during summer..no facilities of any kind... Bring water, especially in summer.

Steep climb for the unfit.
Not suitable for the physically disabled.

Take the time, take a good torch, drinks/picnic for sunset, it will take you a good 2 hours getting to the prime spot, or just 15 minutes for fantastic views
