Sydney Boutique Hotel

This Airbnb stay was a very pleasant experience all the way from booking to stay to checkout. The staff was very service minded and responded to my requests in a timely manner. They took care of my luggage as I had an early arrival. They managed to prioritize cleaning of my room so I could check in early. The room was very clean and the bed very comfy. The hotel is in a quiet location but still walking distance to most of what Sydney has to offer. I can highly recommend this place.

The hotel is located in the heart of a bustling neighborhood with many charming cafes and bars nearby, even on the same block. The budget rooms themselves are reasonable, not particularly large or renovated but fair for the price. The service was superior - very positive, friendly people working the front desk who are always accessible and happy to help with any request, for example extending my checkout time. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend especially to solo travelers looking to feel like part of the vibrant neighborhood.

Glad to have found this little gem tucked away along Darlinghurst Rd.

We arrived 3 hours early to our booking and hoped that we would be allowed to store our bags somewhere early, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and he even allowed us an early check in free of charge! This was ideal for us as we had many bags and were exhausted from our long travel day. The hotel room itself was lovely and is ideally located in the desirable area, Darlinghurst. Overall great service and value so I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!

Location is great - really close to King’s Cross station which can get you anywhere in very little time! A lot of fast food options available within walking distance. Room is cute and cosy - perfect for a couple! Staff were very friendly and helpful especially with parking and even offered a free upgrade!

Our second time staying here. Room was excellent, air con was essential and worked brilliantly. Bathroom and room and bedding spotlessly clean and comfortable. Location is great for the cross and we also walked back from Chippendale and it was easy!

If you are looking for a confortable, clean, convenient and affordable place to visit Sydney you will not be dissatisfied. Check in policies are flexible (not always the case in Australia in my experience) and the staff service impeccable. Very good airport transfer service as well.

The service was great, we received a lot of tips and this helped us a lot during the trip. The rooms are small, but very comfortable.
There is no elevator, this is important to highlight, it wasn't a problem for us, but you might need it.
The location is great, close to the subway station and surrounded by great cafes and restaurants.
The neighborhood is very pleasant.

Staff were extremely helpful and kind, allowed us to check in early to avoid carrying bags all day which was grate ly appreciated. The room is lovely, clean and comfy beds. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely come back.

This is the perfect place if you're coming to Sydney to enjoy the city and just need a comfortable, clean and functional space at the end of the day. Very friendly staff that care. You're not paying for all the facilities of a big hotel so you've got amazing prices and one of the best locations in town.

Really nice stay here, I arrived in Sydney early hours so I was trying to find accommodation last minute when I called the hotel the manager answered as it was diverted to his phone out of hours.

The checked on his laptop and he had availability so booked me in for that morning, usually check in is 3pm onwards in hotels but he said as soon as the current guest has checked out and the room is cleaned he will call me.

At 9:00am he called to say it was ready and I can check in early, I really appreciated this as I was so tired from travelling.

He’s super friendly, helpful and polite.

I felt safe here and it was clean, if I’m honest the room was basic it’s not a 5* hotel but they don’t claim to be 5* as it’s a budget hotel but the bed was super comfy, shower was hot and powerful and there’s a TV and kettle for tea and coffee.

Excellent hotel and service, I’m giving this 5* and recommend anyone to stay here, if I’m ever back in Sydney I’ll be staying here, great value for money!!

We arrived very early for our reservation and were told we could check in early and leave our bags in our room which was very helpful for us after travelling all day! Very lovely and helpful staff who showed they cared a lot. The location is excellent as well, would definitely recommend

The staff member at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. Our stay was excellent with the generous free upgrade to their best available room. Would recommend to anybody looking to stay in the Darlinghurst/kings cross area

The location is nice! Front desk is super friendly and helpful! They offer to help me to carry my luggage to my room when I arrive and also help me to carry them out when I check out! Super grateful for this. Overall the room has everything you need and the shower water is really nice as well! The price is also pretty decent!

Excellent service, pleasant at the reception... we chose the room with a balcony... it is comfortable and comfortable. I would go there again on my next stay in Sydney. Since it is close to the center

The Hotels communication was wonderful and we even got offered an early check in which was wonderful. The gentleman at reception was incredible.

The rooms were nice and the area was convenient

Staff were warm, friendly and welcoming, and very helpful, promptly organising airport transfer service and following up with us regarding our needs. The room was tidy/clean, with basic toiletry and tea/coffee items available for use, an air-conditioner and television, all in working order. The decor was fairly modern, a bit tired in places (peeling paint, cracked steps, but nothing major, it is an old building) and pillows were a bit lumpy, but overall it is a very serviceable for a 3 star hotel, a comfortable room for a short stay, in a really great location. I would stay there again for a night or two for sure!

After being able to check on early on short notice, we even got an upgrade regarding the room. The bed was super comfortable and the shower quite nice.
We even had a small balcony.

This little hotel was an AMAZING saviour. I booked extremely late in the day (after 5pm) out of desperation after a nightmare hostel experience. I wouldn't be arriving until late and yet reception still went out if their way and got in touch via SMS when I couldn't answer my phone (seriously, other hotels never do this, such a relief!) to reassure me everything was sorted and instructions on check in.

The room was functional, clean, renovated (gorgeous bathroom for this price!!!!) and I was delighted the bed even had 2 different types of pillows :)
I've stayed with big fancy hotels through work before, and seriously, in terms of comforts, location and helpfulness, this place still wins.
It's a smallish room but I was still able to comfortably work at the desk for a while and relax in the room. Considering it's 10x bigger than most hostels/pods you'd have to share a room with for half this price, it's a huge win.

I booked another 2 nights very late that night as I was so impressed and needed to extend my stay. They reached out to me and said they can move my bag to my new room while I'm out and offered some flexibility around my options to check back in! Extremely kind and helpful.

My only advice to travellers is just be aware there is shampoo but no conditioner (not an issue as Coles is literally at the next intersection down the st), but just something to be aware of for planning.

The room was quiet, perfectly dark at night and the aircon worked well.

By far the kindest and most helpful staff experience I've had in Sydney and I haven't even met them yet 😂 they're just that good. Even against the bigger expensive hotels. I will definitely come back here again, these guys are legends.

The man at reception was very friendly and the room was amazing and big. We got upgraded which was very nice. The location of the hotel is quiet and only a short walk to Hyde park. Lots of shops nearby too.
