Great atmosphere, Mark the publican is a good ole character, almost as much as the old country pub itself.
Very comforting and children friendly.
They have a huge range of chicken or beef parmigiana's.
I'll be coming back again and again.

it was funtastic. the local hillfolk keep you entertained with never ending stories of wetlands and local political intrigue. the steak is the best but the beer over priced and warmish. daniel the barman / owner does the best he can with what he has. of course he does have the fun of watching the locals age while thinking he should be somewhere else. I highly recommend a trip to thoona .

Lovely lunch at Thoona Pub today. The Warm Chicken Salad was AMAZING. Highly recommend, great little country pub.

March 2017. Watched as they coped extremely well with a group of 40ish elderly folk who arrived by bus for lunch. They worked like a well oiled machine serving delicious meals plus coping with bar patrons and bar meals.

We went to dinner here recently on a Tuesday night. Food was good, and we were really impressed with the waitress having great customer service.

It was great. "quirky" cold drinks great feed .what more could we want do yourself a favour and try it out 😎
