Goorambat Silo Art

We stopped by just to check out the Silo Art and were not disappointed! We didn't stop for lunch, but would have eaten at the Railway Hotel there if we did, as they have great ratings!

It is a beautiful and quiet little town. Goorambat silo art was beautiful. It showed the history of Goorambat. The artist did a fantastic painting. I am in awe of the creativity and skills of the artist.
Firstly, to paint something of this size. Secondly, to work off boom lifts at height.
Wow, wow 👌. There are information boards on both sides of the silos,as there are paintings on the front and back of the group of silos. Once you have seen and appreciated the beautiful artwork and taken lots of photos. Make your way across the road to the Railway Hotel to enjoy a bite to eat and drink.

Magnificent!!! The silo art at Goorambat is part of the Silo Art Trail in Central North Victoria stretching from Picola through Katamitite, Tungamah, St. James, Devenish finishing at Goorambat. Truly magnificent artwork by several artists. The tour can be carried out in a day but best to leave early in the morning to complete the whole tour. You can start tour from either end, Picola to Goorambat or the other way around. Make sure you take cameras or ensure that your mobile phone is fully charged as I guarantee you will take a large number of photos. It is an experience you will never forget. We have done the tour on several occasions and each time there has been new artwork to see. At Devenish ensure you see the artwork on the wall of the toilet block to the left of the solos and also down the side street next to pub. At St. James take a moment to have a look at a piece of Australia, the original G. J. Coles store. It is a shame that an effort has not been made to restore and preserve the store which has fallen into disrepair. The whole tour is totally free and you can do it at your leisure it is not a guided tour. Completely at your leisure. Take refreshments with you as the tour is quite lengthy and there are not many places to stop along the way.

In one word.. amazing. Just a shame that artwork like this brings tourists to town but there is no where to get a coffee

Highly recommended,I love the work done by talented artists I love this group of silo art they have all been fantastic I'm so glad I completed the whole group,but my highlight apart from the murals is the townships who go to you can check out the murals and the have a drink across the road spend your money in the community

A number of locations in this town. The silos, wheat bunker shed, nearby church and toilets block? in the park.

These silos have great artwork. Parking is easy and visibility is good.

Amazing silo art, so much detail to see on all three silos, the added bonus was the Anglican Church wall inside, it was very moving
