It's warm and cosy. The wait was fast. The staff are kind.

If I could give less than 1 stars I would.

I should have said something back when I attended for a blood test however I was just so shocked and in pain at the time I wanted to leave.

I went to go get my blood tested at 4cyte in Ivanhoe maybe a year and a half ago. I never had been there before and as I had just moved locally I thought it would be a quick option to pop in.

Everything about the environment was fine however, this
concerned the actual blood test itself. The reason I am reviewing is because nearly 2 years later I still suffer with nerve pain radiating down into my thumb.

When my blood was taken I felt an extremely painful and sharp shock go down my entire arm as if I had been struck by lightening. I was in visible pain and was asking the lady to “please take out the needle” and “is it supposed to hurt this much?, as I had NEVER had that pain before getting a test done. She responded with “aw have I hurt you” and continued to take the blood.

I didn’t take her name or complain at the time because I felt so gaslit by the woman. For 6 months I couldn’t straighten my arm without sharp ‘nerve twang’ pain. 2 years on, I still struggle with nerve pain in that arm.

I now have a fear of needles and got a second opinion at Melbourne pathology, where I was told they probably went through my nerve and that they are supposed to stop if the patient is in that much pain.
Do NOT go here, I don’t believe the staff are trained well. I wish there was something I could do now but the damage is done.

Really poor. The reception staff at the clinic are always rude to clients. The waiting area for the pathology section is also right in the main corridor where ALL the patient and staff traffic goes.
