Mt Leura lookout

Very nice mountain walks here, with lots of different tracks, most of them are easy except for the circuit. Beautiful landscape views from the top.

Stunning. With fields of green laid out across the land we call home, this is a rest stop worth writing home about.

Camperdown is only a stone's throw from the lookout and an awesome walking trail to explore.

I just hope you don't mind the flies 🤭

Do not miss this lookout. Walking trails are easily accessible. 300 Meters up the views are breathtaking. Makes one feel very humble.

Walk the rim of an ancient volcano! You can also descend into the crater which is now full of trees and climb the peak. It's best to start at the top carpark and from there you have a couple of hours of potential lovely walks. Beware there can be millions of flies in summer so bring repellent or fly nets. Also it is not pleasant to do these walks in very hot weather, but if you walk always bring water with you. There are excellent spots to sit and take in the incredible views. Recommend highly.

We visited on a gloomy day and the sky was dim, but the view was still spectacular and looks a bit like Tuscany in Italy to me. There is a 1.7km panorama trail that will take 45 mins, unfortunately we didnt have time to do it. There is also a bench there for you to enjoy the view!

Stunning views! Great place to walk, run or simply reflex and enjoy the views of the surrounding area and far away peaks. Only a short (5mins) drive from central Camperdown. Great stopover if you're travelling, or worthwhile destination for young and old.

Absolutely love it up here. It's so peaceful, there's a hiking track and the scenery is amazing

Picturesque views with a rich volcanic history. Worth spending a fee hours exploring and taking it all it. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy one of the beautiful picnic areas. (No bathrooms or potable water in site).

Close to Camperdown, great access Road to the top, Awesome 360 degree views and great walking tracks. If you're in the region it's a must visit

Surreal views from the lookout, which is a short walk from the car park. We went on a cold rainy day, but the views were still worth us braving the weather
