Commercial Hotel

I'm reluctant to share my 5 star rating of this hotel because I'm really tempted to keep it as 'a best kept secret'. But in the interests of sharing the bounty, what a truly wonderful establishment. First of all, the staff - brilliant! The accommodation, would rank with any of the high 4-star competition. And at half the price, for a queen suite overlooking the main street with tea and coffee plus a kitchen with multiple breakfast options available. All inclusive. Spotlessly clean and beautiful Victorian architecture.

I thought the Commercial Hotel was great. The staff were very helpful. Various size rooms to meet anyone's needs. A tape in dining area would be nice to make tea.

Incredibly welcoming staff.

It was one of the hottest days and I was waiting for the train to Melbourne. The lady behind the bar was incredibly welcoming and considerate. I did not get her name, but her thoughtfulness will live long in my memory.

Terrific town, rooms are clean, sheets are fresh, shared bathroom is the only downside

Great atmosphere, great architecture, absolutely lovely staff! Very flexible with meal options and some bargain prices! Catered very well to my other two guests which were either lactose intolerant or gluten intolerant. Takes the stress out of eating for them! Feel like I've found a little gem with this establishment! If I'm hear Camperdown again I'll definitely be calling in.

Stopped in for dinner last night. The staff in the main bar were lovely and very welcoming! We ate in the bistro had the parma and pistachio lamb, both were fantastic, staff were attentive. Bistro setting is worth a look, quirky layout. Highly recommend :-) Thanks a lot.

Booked for lunch yesterday for four and from the phone booking to leaving, was an excellent experience. Food was fantastic, good pub grub, beer was cold and service excellent. Even the facilities were spotless clean. Highly recommend. :)

The best food in Camperdown by far. This is a must try, highly recommend for anyone coming to Camperdown. We ordered the steak, parma and Cobb loaf, everything was cooked to perfection. We came back twice during our short weekend away

Really impressed with dinner here. Delicious generous sized meals at reasonable prices with friendly excellent service. I loved it. Will be back for sure.

So glad we found this place,the beer garden is well protected from the weather and the ambiance is great,

Absolutely wonderful food. Chef does some creative and lovely dishes always fresh and high quality. Staff are delightful.

So good the meals at the moment 15 of us going for tea again....n reasonable budget choice on menu . Meat to vegetarian to vegan. Come n enjoy. Music in tussocks back bar sometimes

6 Parkland Ladies Golfers from Hamilton enjoyed a fantastic dinner tonight before playing the final of 2021 Pennant at the Camperdown golf course tomorrow. Recommend anyone who are in the area to enjoy a meal at this hotel, the staff are so friendly and have a great knowledge of the area.

It's so nice and the reception is so helpful and informative. You have the Bar bistro restaurant everything at the same place. The restaurant open still 9 p.m. the bar open till late. Is a good gaming lounge too. IGA and Woolworths is very close by. This hotel owns another beautiful place called Camperdown which is a nice for travelers tourist. Is a self-contained airport beautiful.

Had dinner there 2 nights in a row whilst on holidays. Fabulous staff & really good food.
