Beautiful school, great music and art program. They understand the value of introducing music to students at the right age to maximise learning potential of the creative process. Would recommend to any parent looking to bring their child up in a safe and creative environment with a balanced education.

My time at MRSS is a time I can look back on with such joyous memories and great experiences which I could really never have gained anywhere else. I joined MRSS in Kinder garden and continued on to finish VCE with high marks. Finishing at the school on the final day of year 12 was such a sad day for me and I really miss my time there. The school community, teachers and grounds create such a nurturing atmosphere for young people. I truely believe that schools like this are becoming less and less these days as technology advances. The way of teaching here allows you to grow as a person without external pressure that other schools may have. The Outdoor Education is fantastic, I learnt some very important life skills and truely developed my connection to nature and the world.

The VCE program was great, with an ample selection of subjects. I found the support of my teachers during this time to be very helpful and allowed me to get through my exams quite easily. One of the most beautiful things about the school is that it really does function as a community. Our teachers became like friends by the time we were done, which made it even harder to leave.

I'm a creative person, and i know that I would not be so artistic and openminded without the experiences gained through the Steiner education.

It is hard to find a place to start in describing how wonderful a school it was and is in my experience! I spent the entirety of my schooling at MRSS from 4 years of age until 18. The strength of friendship and community developed throughout has stayed strong into my mid 20's and continues to grow. I was able to academically excel during VCE and subsequent university Science studies, which I attribute greatly to my willingness to ask the questions "why" and "how" - regardless of the status or how dogmatic who or what I was questions was - which was a quality inherently fostered by my schooling.

I am lucky enough to still spend time coaching at the school, and seeing the children playing happily and looking at the world around them with wonder and inquisition whilst being nurtured as individuals is so heart-warming to me, and makes reflecting upon my childhood even fonder.
I truly hope people will go and experience the school environment, philosophy and community for themselves before drawing a conclusion about their thoughts of the school and whether it is suited to them.

The school helped shape who I am today, my experiences there led me to be a happy and knowledgable human being of the world. The school camps gave me an understanding and appreciation of science, nature and physical activities, and the extensive music program led me to become a fully independent working musician. The VCE program was great and fully covered any course I may have wanted to apply for after school and the sense of community and wholesomeness at MRSS makes every student feel welcome and safe. Loved it!

As a past student of this school I can say without a doubt that it is the best thing that ever happened to me.
Not only are the people there, and everyone I have met as part of the community wonderful, generous, giving people, but the curriculum and support from the staff as well as from other students allows you to thrive as a person and I cannot wait to be able to send my daughter there.

Gorgeous school, wonderful environment, an oasis of childhood in a world that sometimes forget to let children have one.

My education at the Steiner School created a strong foundation in creative and agile thinking, it allowed me to excel academically and engendered in me a powerful sense of community, equality and respect. It equipped me with a resilience, positivity and generosity that continues to support me through a successful life and career.
