One of the best parks in Melbourne with something for everyone! Lots of different types of play spaces - climbing and obstacles type courses, mini cubbies for role playing for the little kids, the usual swings and slides, plus two different flying foxes. Many of the play areas have shade cloths, although the exposed areas do get hot in the heat of the day. There is a huge flat grassy space for picnics and ball games. the grown ups there is a fitness station along the dog park loop, approx 1.5kms of flat trail connecting this play space to the main Diamond Creek trail. Overall, the kids love to come here and have endless fun - and the parking is very decent too, with two dedicated parking areas.

We had a fantastic afternoon at the Diamond Creek Regional Playspace. There are heaps of different activities there for kids of all ages. Slides, swings and a huge sandpit which is mining themed. There are lots of pulleys and buckets and water for lots of fun. There are huge climbing frames here and a great flying fox for older kids. There is a huge grassy area for picnics and quite a few BBQs and under cover areas. There is a smaller kids play space as well with lots of little cubbies. Food and drinks are available in the tram Cafe along with toilets. Very close proximity to the Diamond Creek trail for walking and riding.

Wow! Probably one of the few playgrounds that have quite a few choices for kids to play, family to have bbq or picnic, and have clean toilets!
There's enough shade-y areas where you can set up your picnics.
There are parking very close to the playground, which unfortunately doesnt show very well in Google map. When you enter the Mangrook Oval, follow the clockwise path past the lawn ball place on your left. Not far after that, there's a path that you can and should turn left (if you go straight , it's a one way) and you should be able to see the parking area in front of you soon after (and dog park on your right).

Such an awesome playspace for all ages! Heaps of room to run around and we could’ve stayed here a lot longer!

Clearly one of the best playgrounds in Melbourne. Very large which encourages kids movement and exploration. Set in natural bush surroundings, don’t miss the restored original Melbourne Tram up on the back hill!

Quite possibly the best park within our 25km radius. There's Everything your kids will want, lawns for picnic, cafe for snacks, cubby houses, slides, swings, flying foxes, merry go round, big and small climbing frames, a huge sandpit with water pump, mine carts and diggers. Plus two bbq pavilions. It is huge and probably our new second home!!

This is a superb play area for children and is a real credit to the local Lions members who, I am informed, built the structures the park contains. The sand pit is simply brilliant, the flying foxes - there are two - are just terrific. With barbecues and some shelter from bad weather, it is near perfect..a couple now more would be just great. The park deserves a 5-stars rating!

This playground has almost everything. The flying fox, sand facilities and the climbing structures are highlights of this playground. Easily keep kids entertained for a long time.

All I wanted to do was get a coffee from an old W class tram, now I’m stuck with my kids at an amazing playground with three flying foxes, a ropes course, and all manor of things designed to develop your kids brain without them realising it. I did get a little bit of sand in my shoes though, which did detract a little.

One of the best playground we’ve been to. With super long flying fox (zipline), climbing structures, sand mining games, and a tram cafe on top of a hill.

Really good. A wide range of activities of varied difficulty. The climbing activities are some of the best I've seen at an Australian playground; great for building balance and courage! Beautiful surroundings. And the nearby Tram Cafe (with clean toilets) is also worth a visit.

Great park for all ages. Lots of play equipment for every ability. There are barbeques, lots of lawn, sand galore and water play too. To top all that off, there's a tram cafe, public toilets and plenty of parking. Definitely a hit!
