Awesome find on our holiday. On a wet and rainy day, their delicious creamy and rich pork belly ramen hit the spot! Lady was extremely lovely and place was very aesthetic.

Lovely tiny restaurant in a narrow street that gives you the idea of asian street food. Great Chiken Katsu Udon and sushi rolls. Interesting drinks too.

The karaage burger was very tasty and very large, along with chips it was a big meal. If you're hungry this should do the job. Good selection of drinks on offer too. I will be back to try the onigiri and other sushi. The other hot dishes looked good too.

Amazing! Hands down the absolute best katsu curry I've ever had, the huge burgers are mouth wateringly good and the pork belly ramen soup flavour was also an absolute winner although it could have had more pork in it.

The food is amazing.
I've tried the Chicken Karaage Don and the Mixed Poke Rice Bowl (pictured) and they are both absolutely yummy.
Good sized bowl for the price!
Highly recommended.

A good selection of sushi, salad and small bites to grab-and-go. The prices are affordable and the portions are decent. The service is good as well!

My favorite is the grilled beef sushi. I also enjoy their matcha hot chocolate as a little treat myself on a cold day. Usually, I do takeouts but have dined in a couple of times and it’s a nice, unfussy atmosphere. It’s a great spot for some quick affordable eats. If you’re looking for something japanese and convenient, this is the place.

Good and quick service. Delicious food. Recommend the unagi don. My daughter rated as the best ramen she's had and she eats a lot! Cute decorations but currently next to a construction site. Playing Christmas carols in mid November 😑

Stopped in here for a quick snack. We shared the chicken Katsu curry and it was delicious. Very friendly service. Quick, easy and delicious!

Thank you chef!

I went back the next night to try their ramen. It was just ok. I would stick with the curry.

The ramen was good though the gyoza were more like deep fried dim sum. Too crunchy outside and pork filling wasn't anything fancy.

Didnt expect a tasteful and proper salad on this menu. Generous dressing n fruit on the salad make the salad alive. Definitely best value for the price.

Cute little hole in the wall, it's down a little alleyway, nice and quiet away from the noise of the city. Inside is a small affair serving ready made sushi, but you can also order fresh ramen, burgers or udon.

Nice little joint for some fresh and yummy Japanese food and really nice service. We tried the salmon sushi pack which was absolutely delicious. They’ve got a halal label as well, though there was pork in one roll. I would ask for details next time. Highly recommended.

Stuck to the tried and tested, and it was fantastic. Sushi was self-service so not going to comment on service.
Annoying bird though

Chicken katsu curry the sauce was very sweet not spicy at all. Think its a veggie based curry. But overall not bad. Pork belly noodles soup was good but the noodles were undercooked. They replaced it promptly. Would I come back? Prbly not but if nowhere to go and craving for rice or noodles not a bad place to eat:)

Went to Melbourne for a holiday, searched for the nearest Japanese curry place and found Rolling Nori. Ordered a pork katsu curry, and it did not disappoint. The meal was filling, generous servings and the curry came with sliced oranges which cleans the palate. The egg was gooey and curry served with black rice and red cabbage salad. Can't wait to come back.

Very delicious Japanese food. We got the chicken karage burger, gyoza, pork belly ramen and chips and everything was very delicious and hearty, perfect lunch meal for winter. Staff were friendly too, not much seating capacity and a little tight but other than that very satisfied with our experience. Will definitely come back again.

This cafe is a hidden treasure in the Melbourne CBD. They have a good range of interesting, delicious and relatively inexpensive simple Japanese dishes. The staff are very friendly and service is reasonably prompt. We’ve visited twice now. I loved the karaage burger but it was so large it was a challenge to manage while eating. The mixed poke bowl was one of the best I have had. We will be back to try more dishes.

Got the Iced Yuzu Tea, Chicken Karage Burger and Tempura Prawn Udon!
Everything was really delicious. The burger was really delicious and did well to combine Japenese flavours. The udon was good - the tempura prawn were very crispy and almost melted in the mouth (sad that they only gave two though). Only thing is it is on the pricier side, but I guess it makes up through the portion size.
Overall, will definently visit again.
