I suffer severe anxiety and panic attacks and have Chronic PTSD among other things. Worry beads were recommended for me and I'm so glad they were. There were so many beautiful ones to choose from and I ordered an Amethyst one. Received it today and I absolutely love it and can see why people use them. As someone who experiences bouts of health anxiety, I have experimented over the past few months with various types of fidget devices. A google search put me on to The Komboloi Shop, and I’m so glad it did. I ordered a set of the Xtreme Series stainless steel handheld worry beads (threaded on Kevlar for extra strength). They are absolutely perfect for me; they have a very pleasant weight which really helps ground me, and there are a bunch of different ways you can manipulate the beads (spinning, thumbing, using index finger etc). I find that they rarely far from my hand, and they just help me remain calm through the ups and downs of the day. I would add that the workmanship is first-class – you can tell that this is a quality set of beads.

The owner, Jon, has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. I love encouraging Australian businesses like this, particularly when you can tell that there is a real level of innovation in the product (a quick search through the online shop shows a really diverse range of products).

I think that anyone can benefit from Jon’s products in this fast-paced world, but particularly for those who have anxiety I recommend The Komboloi Shop without hesitation.
