Quite a chill atmosphere with wonderful food and interesting artsy videos being showed via projector on the walls.

Videos are very fun - quite artistic and slightly unnerving but nothing too much to make you uncomfortable.

Should have a fancy vibe given the quality of food but it wasn’t - very welcoming and chilled despite top tier service and food.

Very reasonably priced meals as is the wine, do go if you’re in Melbourne.

Very formal venue , you’ve got a set menu you can choose from

You get complimentary fresh bread and butter as well as some salt in a fancy stone piece

Got some tuna pate , Lime mocktail and a berry mocktail , rocket salad, truffle mushroom , some white chocolate desert

Food was excellent and service was friendly

Di Stasio is a great experience.
Very well trained staff and they pay very close attention to all details.
The venue is very clinical, the staff even wear what seems to be a lab coat.
The food was great. Obviously good chefs, the food had very good flavour.
The Quattro formaggio gnocchi could have been better, the linguini Di Capri and lamb shoulder were a stand out. Overall it’s a great experience here.

Good choices of cocktails , staff are wearing lab uniforms and looks unique. Food is of nice presentation and taste good. Nice celebrating venue such as birthdays party or events.

Truly wonderful experience, all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant itself was very nicely decorated and had cosy feel. The food was absolutely delicious and couldn’t fault it, all the meals were amazing and highly recommend eating in

We came to Di Stasio Citta for dinner date and loved the food, service and atmosphere. The entrées were nice, but the mains and desserts were absolutely delicious. We had the steak and duck for mains and they were cooked to perfection. The waiters were very attentive, professional and welcoming. We will definitely be returning.

What a delightful experience! We felt like royalty with so many friendly knowledgeable staff looking after us. Delicious cocktails, both traditional and modern and a stunning menu showcasing modern versions of Italian classics. Definitely coming back.

Di Stasio Citta is literally a work of art. A traditional yet industrial-chic Italian restaurant where clips from Australian Artists are projected onto the walls and dine on tables with white tablecloths. I almost felt like I was not fancy enough to be there until I was greeted by their lovely wait staff.

We carefully selected our dishes from their 3 course $95 set menu, each selecting something different so we could taste as much as possible. There absolutely was not a foot wrong here, every course was simple yet cooked and seasoned to perfection. I was especially impressed with the creamy Alfredo Tortellini (special), the Saffron Risotto and the stunning White Chocolate Tart. Initially concerned, we actually left quite full.

Highly recommend Di Stasio Citta for a special occasion dining experience, I can’t imagine anyone leaving disappointed.

We’ve just got home from the most wonderful meal at Di Stasio Citta. Food was delicious, and service was excellent. What made the meal special was that Ronnie was there and showed why he is synonymous with great hospitality in Melbourne. He made us feel so welcome and like old friends with such a personal touch. Can’t wait to go back again!

Went for my partners birthday meal. Everything was great, especially the Arancini and the Bolognese pasta was the best I have ever had. Rich and delicious. Highly recommend the decadent chocolate mousse as well. Surpassed all expectations.

We were lucky to get a table and enjoyed this restaurant immensely. The somewhat complex menu was clearly explained enabling a choice for all our guests that left not a scrap behind! Delicious! We chose Pinot Noir from their own vineyard and it matched perfectly. Overall expensive given the value is exceptional. 5 stars!

I loved everything about Citta.
Attentive and helpful service, without being cloying, treated respectfully as a woman dining alone on this occasion.
Best ever cocktail, the retro "A Grasshopper Named Kevin", and excellent vitello tonnato as entrée, and tournadoes Rossini for the main.
Lovely wine by the glass too.
A definite return-to, when I'm next in Melbourne.

What a perfect experience. I ate here on a Tuesday night with friends and not only was it a great overdue catch up but the dining experience was superb. All our meals were fantastic, I had the tuna as an entree and an eye fillet as a main, both plates were beautifully cooked, served in a timely manner and well accompanied with a fine recommendation of wines. The service was attentive but not overly, timely and professional in every way. Well done chefs and staff on a great experience. Sorry no images.

Wow what an experience both visually and gastronomically.... I'll add spiritually in there also because Ronnie Do Stasio himself made the experience extra special with his comments banter and absolute hospitality. Food and sensational an amazing burst of flavour and life in all the dishes perfectly cooked and seasoned. There was nothing but awe and excitement around the table. Best ever! Thanks Ronnie

Been meaning to come to this place for a while. Definitely one of my top list for Italian restaurants in Melbourne. The place has many different vibes. Very artistic, modern, stylist and an old school at the same time. Service was outstanding. I’ve ordered the scallops, octopus, duck and crab pasta for my main. For dessert : a chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious. It was a great experience to have. Totally mind blowing

All courses were absolutely delicious, very much recommend the octopus entree. I liked the atmosphere. The dessert wine was the best I have ever tasted. Definitely recommend.

Lovely staff, really great service and food

Caffe Di Stasio is an institution in Melbourne. Their Citta offering also never disappoints. With its minimalist architecture and highly attentive wait staff, be prepared for a wonderful dining experience in this Italian gem.

Every bite was melt-in-the mouth gourmet. The service is second to none and the food so fresh, you feel the streets of Italy as you dine. Well worth the fine dining price tag. Highly recommended.
