Whittlesea Childcare Centre | Journey Early Learning

I've had both my children come through the service starting in nursery. They have since graduated kinder and are currently in primary and secondary. I feel I wouldn't have trusted them with anyone else. As now I work at the service, my children enjoy coming in to see familiar educators. The educators continue to treat them as part of the family with the same level of gentleness, care and respect.

My daughter started in the nursery room this year in April, she has settled into the room beautifully.
The staff have been so amazing, and treat her as one of their own.
I can honestly see how much love they all have for the children in that room.

So proud of how much she has learnt already. The girls in the nursery room treat her like she’s their own. My daughter absolutely loves going to day care and that a testament to the great educators she has.

Journey Whittlesea offers genuine care for each child. A wonderful atmosphere, and well equipped and planned play and learning experiences. Whole healthy food is prepared on site daily and communication is excellent. We love that it is not just a child minding service. Thank you journey staff old and new. We appreciate you.

The quality and value of learning at this centre is something that has really captured me and made me confident and comfortable in sending my son there. The activities that are implemented to promote learning, both inside the classroom and outside have really developed my sons awareness and attention to the little things! Particularly, activities such as mindful Mondays, where the children do Yoga has really been embraced within our household.
Throughout lockdown children are still included in home learning activities through video interaction and learning activities that are very engaging.

The most important aspect for me was the staff, to ensure my son was welcomed somewhere he would feel safe, and this centre delivered beyond my expectations! Not only did we both feel welcome and safe, the staff made us feel like family, always enthusiastic and happy to see us. We are truly made to feel like a family.

The growth I have seen in my daughter since joining Journey has exceeded our expectations. The educators and management always go that extra mile providing a safe, fun and educational care

We had a fantastic experience sending our 1yo to childcare for the first time. the staff were so welcoming and made me feel very comfortable leaving my little one in their very capable hands. Thanks everyone at Journey Whittlesea for making our first childcare experience such a positive one 🙂

I enrolled my son (now nearly 1) this year to Journey in Whittlesea. What a great decision! Sarah who runs the centre is exceptional and will do everything to make you feel at ease. The ladies in the babies room are incredible. I get stories, photos and videos most days around what they have been learning.
Every week my son gets to do music aswell which he just loves! Even the ladies in the other rooms who take him first thing in the morning and in the late afternoon are really lovely.
The food they serve is amazing. Healthy and delicious! He probably eats better than me to be honest! This is hands down the best childcare centre anywhere near here.. I feel at home.. I can trust them and the experience, knowledge and general loving care of the teachers is just heart warming. Thankyou Journey Whittlesea!

I’m so happy I have enrolled my son into Journey Early Learning Centre in Whittlesea. The staff are absolutely amazing! My son struggles to leave my side and the staff helped my son by having orientation days to help him settle in and has done wonders! My son now looks forward to spending his days there and I can leave him with a BIG smile on his face also has a BIG smile when I pick him up. He talks for days of what he has done through out the days he’s there. I can’t recommend highly enough! Very very happy and I’m very excited for my son.

My son started going to whittlesea Journey April 2019, my husband and I are very happy with the care all the staff give to our son. Whenever we need to book him into an extra day they are always willing to help us out. The staff/ team that work there are always lovely towards us and inform us of any changes. We receive emails with photos and reports of what they have been learning and the activities they have been doing which is always exciting to see. 😀 thanks 😊

Journey is a great childcare center full of wonderful staff. The Sustainability Program and new Healthy Eating Program at Journey are fantastic. I personally love them as they really reinforce what my husband and I are trying to teach our own kids at home. By Journey making healthy eating and the care and protection of the environment mainstream, it makes it so much easier for my kids to understand why we live the way we do and be proud of how we live. I could not recommend them highly enough.

We have been at this centre for 4 years. My kids love going. The staff are amazing and treat my kids like their own. It is such a positive centre and always keeping us update with what is happening not all at the centre and in our town but all the day to day stuff my children are doing. So grateful for the team at Journey.

My son has been attending this centre since he was 7 months old - he is now in his kinder year and I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Journey Early Learning centre who have helped care and teach my son so many of the things he knows today and will take with him when he starts school next year. The team are always accommodating, so friendly and genuinely have the best interests of the children and parents at heart. Thanks to Karsha, Rachel, Mel, Corrine and Sarah who are all just adored by all of us!

Amazing childcare Center my son has been attending for the past 3 years, there is always smiling lovely ladies at the front desk and then once you get to the rooms the girls are amazing they treat your child like their own, they have an amazing app which they keep you updated on with photos and stories about your little one which is lovely to receive.

Highly recommend journey.

I have had experiences with a few different day care facilities and have found Journey Early Learning to be the best. In the short time my daughters have attended they have show immense progress in their development and are clearly feel happy and safe in their environment. Journey gives me the confidence that my children are confident, safe and getting the attention and security they need.

My daughter started at Journey in February, all the educators have put in so much effort into her settling in, they have been very accommodating also. Myself an partner are very happy with all that they do. Highly recommend the centre.

Absolutely love this centre, the team are amazing, management are so supportive and friendly and the facilities are great. Wish there were more space for my daughter to attend more days but can definitely see why they are full. Great work Journey!
