Beautiful memorial which is sympathetic to the bush environment. Take time to read the words on the concentric ceramic rings. The Blacksmith Tree is amazing, with its eucalyptus leaves forged around the world.

I suspect it draws on Indigenous themes. It'd be nice if there was an interpretive sign to educate us.

So worth a visit.Outstanding memorial for black Saturday victims. I know what these people went through and would be still going through, so touching to see so many people cared.So tragic the loss of lives though.
