City Reach Motel - 4 star

Easy to get to. Short drive to town centre. Rooms look like they were recently painted and were clean. Looks popular with tradies here for work and people passing through longer road trips

Good value for money, very comfortable,quiet and clean.

Great prices and the friendly owners that made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and tidy, perfect for our toddler. Air-conditioning was great in the 40+ degree weather, as were the black our curtains. The facilities were lovely and we enjoyed the pool and bbq area.

My hobby is filming trains and train stations and I chose the City Reach because it's a nice walk to the station and I had read the motel reviews.
What a great place to stay, the owners were great, they made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and inexpensive.
I enjoyed my stay.

The staff absolutely handled a problem we had with another room with diplomacy and privacy. I cannot thank them enough for the bottle of wine they gave us even though we never expected it. The room was lovely clean and the king spa room was a unexpected surprise in sleepy wangaratta. We will come back to stay here again

Jodie & Jamie were amazing! When my partner & I checked in Jodie asked if we needed any milk from her fridge to make coffee because we had a long day. She also recommended hidden gems that were a hop skip and jump from the motel. I will recommend them to my buyers & vendors when they visit Wangaratta. Best Regards Wes from Ray White Blackburn.

On our way to Melbourne, we decided to stay here for the night. We walked in around 6pm and asked for a room for myself and the wife. Jamie was able to give us a family room at a discounted price! The room was spotless and the beds and pillows comfortable. The aircon was whisper quiet and the bathroom was also clean.
As we were passing through, Jamie advised us of a couple of places to eat as well.

I gave five stars for the service (nothing was too much trouble) and for the room. We will definitely be staying here again.

This motel and staff I can’t speak highly enough of. They went out of their way to make me comfortable. The rooms are comfy, bless the aircon and shower! Always clean, always a smile on their faces. I would come here again. Thank you to all the staff ❣

Got the last room at the lodge as there was a lot of sports on in the area. The room we had consisted a double and 3 single beds. Two of the singles in a separate room. Very friendly service on check in and check out. On check in we were supplied with 2 bottles of milk as we are both big coffee drinkers. Parking was a bit tight with the number of guests but in the morning, didn't hear vehicles leave. Happy with the price considering town was booked out. Would consider staying again and location to all facilities was excellent.

Great stay on a Saturday night when visiting friends in the area. Very comfortable bed, huge room, extremely clean, quiet (couldn't hear the next door neighbours, unlike the hotel in Melbourne the night before) and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Jo and Jamie looked after us very well. Quite close to the city centre, shops, art gallery and park, City Reach Motel is a very comfortable stay. We stayed for two nights to visit around Wangaratta, Benalla, and Silo Art Trail.

Nice rooms friendly atmosphere, close to town centre easy walking

Stayed there the night of Jan 4th 2018 and was very pleased. It was very clean and comfortable, had most of the facilities/amenities that I would have expected for the price ($150). Was happy to pay that as I specifically wanted a spa. I had a look at other places earlier in the day on accommodation sites but ended up choosing this place as it was one of the first that I saw when I was going into the town area of Wangaratta. I was going to shop around but opted out! Check-in was warm and inviting and on asking to see the room was met with no objection which is a positive. Not sure whether breakfast was an option, didn't ask and it wasn't mentioned. Would have been happy to pay for it but chose to get my own provisions anyway. The owner mentioned (as it was around dinner time at that stage) that a good place to eat was the restaurant next door (The Water Marc) and yes I did dine there and also enjoyed the experience. There was a small shopping centre nearby that included a Coles and Kmart which was handy but the motel was within a reasonable walking distance of the CBD anyway. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

Excellent all round service and hosts. Great location with comfortable bed and bedding. Right next to a fantastic restaurant, Watermark dining.
