The Old Town 'N' Country Tavern

Some weeks ago I came here for dinner with my husband, toddler and newborn. My newborn was crying and I was conscious of not disturbing other diners so moved to the side of the restaurant to try to settle him. A staff member came over to me and asked if there was anything she could do and mentioned she was happy to try to settle my son while I ate dinner. This was such a lovely gesture and I appreciated it so much. My husband managed to settle our son in the end, but it was a beautiful gesture. Arielle, I just wanted to let you know that your kindness didn't go unnoticed, I appreciated your encouraging and kind words very very much!

Great service and food. Very reasonably priced. I'll be going back and taking my grandsons as I'm sure they'll love the play area.

Only recently discovered this place and glad we did! Nice atmosphere, great meals (which were huge might I add), happy friendly staff and nice cold beer. This will be our go to from now on when in Wang.

We had an amazing time at the Tavern for dinner tonight. Greeted well and seated quickly, despite any thought that we should have booked a table before we arrived there. The service was friendly and efficient. Food was served fast and was very yummy. It made our night great.

Great value for money, excellent menu choice, food amazing, good all round experience

My family of 6 dined here (for the second time in a few months) and our meals were all delicious and good value. My husband had a steak and said it was the best he had had at a restaurant for some time. My meal was lovely too and my son and his family all enjoyed their meals and left empty plates.

Great food, reasonably priced, well worth the stop in.

We recently had 90 people attend my father's 100th birthday and it was the exact right venue. The staff prepared the room beautifully and were extremely responsive in meeting all of our needs. The bar staff and waiters were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and received well by our guests. Really good pub meal absolutely nice staff

I cant believe ive never been here before! I came through on Friday for lunch and bless the staff were super busy but made sure each and every customer was greeted with a smile, a conversation and made sure each and everyone was happy and satisfied!!!! Such a great atmosphere and the food was gigantic!!! Me and Partner will definitely be back!!! Big ups to the Management and Owners you have hired such awesome hardworking staff!!!

Always nice big fresh meals, chefs take pride in their cooking. staff are friendly and welcoming and will ensure you have a good experience. Great play area for kids and bonus kids menu have colouring attached so keeps them entertained throughout the whole time.

Beautiful food, friendly staff and extremely fast service, waited 5 minutes for me and my Family’s meals to be on the table.

What a great pub this is the service was very good ,the food was excellent and a great amount off food it was great so if u are in town and looking for a great lunch or dinner I wholeheartedly try here cheers 🥂🥂

We had an amazing time Friday night for happy hour and the live music. All staff were good but the big tall bartender was a standout with his service all night and his product knowledge when we went through the bottleshop on our way home

An ideal place to bring the kids for a family meal. They have a large indoor play centre space (great for 2-12 years), a lovely air conditioned dining area, and kids eat free on sunday nights. The food was generous, yummy, and came to our table quickly. Our son's kids meal also came with a free serve of ice cream. The staff were friendly and considerate of the kids, too. Very impressed!

Great place for a casual drink or a pub meal. Service was prompt and staff were helpful and friendly. We had steak and parma are outstanding.Nice outdoor seating.

Absolutely first class service.

Travelling Australia with my family for the last 7 months we have eaten in many places...the service here is one of the best if not the best of any restaurant or pub on our entire trip.

The food was amazing, tasty and perfect serving sizes.

If we were locals we would come here every week.

Publicans and restaurant owners should send their staff here to show then what great service and amazing tasty food looks like

My Susie & I had the funnest afternoon & evening + the best pub grub. Just went on spec, the patrons are a friendly happy bunch, happy hour, really was something, coming from NSW, it was literally 1/2 price. Woo Hoo.
