Dargo General Store

rode into town late in the arvo after the store had closed . the owner who was luckily still there unlocked the bowsers for us so we could fuel up . he didnt have to but did it to help some blokes out . if your passing through pay a visit and try out the food to its bloody great !!

The steak sandwich absolutely rocks proper white bread n all. Comes with all the goods and cheese.
Good fries too.
The Digley's diversion was superb! Legends!

Absolutely love this store. Recently visited multiple times whilst in Dargo.
The place has everything you need and has so much character. Hats off to the owners. Also don't forget to check out the little shop out the back.

Great store, lovely folk running it. Great coffee and wow, how did you manage to heat our pies so quickly and still retain their crunchy top. Great pies, thanks. Love the books I bought and the Rack Off, locally made insect repellent, with loads of natural goodies for my skin.

Massive thanks to the dargo general store, rolled into town (just) with a completely collapsed wheel bearing in my KTM, and by some stroke of genius, the store keeps stock of wheel bearings, and even had a full bearing/seal kit for my bike! Also let me borrow some tools to do the job.

I've always loved this pub since 1986.

Rocked up dirty and wet after a few nights on blue rag, the amazing staff whipped us up 9 of the BEST steak sandwiches we’ve ever seen. It was heaven after a few cold wet nights camping. Lovely place, great food, friendly staff. Thanks a bunch :)

Excellent country hospitality! After our car broke down on Wonnangatta rd, Bruce and Sue fixed us up with last minute accommodation in 'The Avenue' right next to the general store. They helped us to arrange a tow truck the next day and let us use the accommodation past the check out time while we waited for the tow truck. The accommodation was very nice too - very clean and spacious, with a well equiped kitchen, comfy bed and couches. It's a pity that we didn't get to enjoy it for longer.

Great place, has most of the stuff that you need. Fishing gear, accommodation, Post Office, Indoor and outdoor dining. Petrol. Pies. Cold drinks. Souvenirs. Local advice. Smiles and laughs.
Be sure to visit.

Last stop. Prices can be a bit much.

Called in for coffee, it was very good, they also had a wide range of groceries, liquor licence, fuel. Called in again on the way home from Talbotvill and had lunch.

Not many places in Dargo but this small store ticks all the boxes. Brilliant. The food is home cooked and the stock in store is impressive

Peter Kerry and Craig, are great people. The shop is well supplied and has ripper breaky burgers. Stop in and say hello.
