Killara Hotel & Suites

Rooms are tastefully renovated and clean. Beds are comfortable. Wifi worked well and was fast. Parking got busy at night but was helpful having it included. Television had all the regular channels and could cast from your device using the wifi. Had a nice sitting/living area as well. Having charging points next to the bed as well as a reading lamp was great. Water pressure was good. I sometimes could hear the people in the room next to me and the traffic in the morning could be a little noisy but asides from that it was very quiet. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced, their coffee was also good. A microwave and cutlery in the room would have been helpful touches. Sometimes they were light on staff but the staff were all friendly and helpful. Handy location on Pacific highway. Overall a really good place to stay and would definitely stay again especially given the exorbitant prices in Sydney! It's amazing the difference a renovation can make to a place!

Really surprised at the wonderful stay I had here, very nice clean and comfortable rooms. I have no idea where I am going in Sydney and this was booked as it was the only place available but what a happy accident cause it was superb

A quiet, comforting hotel suite on the side of the easy to access Pacific Highway in the northern suburbs of Sydney. Killara Suites has become my most frequented location I stay when I come to Sydney. All the staff (Kali, especially) has always been incredibly accommodating and helpful with my stays. The rooms are always pristine, with the right facilities to keep you comfortable the entire time. Most mornings, my Cockatoo friends come and hang out on the balcony, quietly watching me as I observe them.

The bar, and the restaurant have both won me over, with some incredible Asian cuisine and peaceful atmosphere - it takes the cake as one of the most pleasant dining experiences I have had in Sydney.

Thank you again, Killara Hotel & Suites, for always feeling like my home away from home.

The rooms are clean and very nicely appointed. Would have loved a
microwave to cook a snack. It was surprisingly quiet considering it's location. Perfect for an overnight or a couple nights stay

We have used the function room for a family event in 2014 and have checked into Killara Inn since whenever we visit Sydney from Melbourne. It is in a convenient location to meet our friends around where we lived in the past as well as to the city and other locations given train services nearby. The upgrade to the Inn has seen a great uplift in the rooms with clean sheets and beds.
Kali has always been friendly and has found imaginative ways to hand us our keys if we were to check in past front desk close at 9pm. It is also nice to have smiling and friendly staff like Okan and Sally.
In my 4 nights visit till today, I was uplifted by a new friend at my bedroom window who appeared to want to check on me!
The sulphur crested cockatoo cheered me up in the mornings.

Rooms are clean quiet and nicely decorated. Food in restaurant was amazing. I will stay here again when next visiting nearby relatives. Thank you to the staff who were all very nice and respectful

Netty. Was. Here. I haven’t checked out yet and I’m that impressed I may as well review this location now. I’ve stayed here many years ago. Still a very clean and comfortable hotel in a convenient location to Chatswood, St Ives and Macquarie Park.

Affordable and spacious. I like this hotel.

We had lunch at Jacaranda today and were very pleasantly surprised with the excellent quality of the food. The decor, settings, hygiene were great.
But we were most impressed with Kali. He was polite, friendly and most helpful with menu selection, directions, etc.A special thanks to Kali.

Killara Hotel & Suites was a delight.

From the great staff and front of house experience, my night stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The new in house restaurant is a breath of fresh air of Asian fusion with dedicated chefs, be sure to grab some drinks from the great bartenders while you wait for your food. Can't wait for the new downstairs bar to be opened there in the coming weeks.

The in room entertainment is super easy and modern, with smart connections to your phone with your current streaming apps at your fingertips.

My experience was more than satisfactory, this is my go to stay now. Everything was exemplary!

Stayed here several times even prior to renovations. Always clean, well priced, car spot a bonus, staff friendly but most importantly very responsive to any need and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms large, spacious and modern. Shower has amazing pressure and temperature. Always book here first for a stay in Sydney.

Our Family stayed one night at Killara Hotel and Suites. We absolutely loved it. We booked our room around 5pm in the afternoon and not only were they able to get us a cot (brand new!) in the room on such short notice but also upgraded our stay. We found the room to be spotless, with a very nice new modern feel. Our interaction with the staff was very friendly and considerate. Will stay there again in the future!

Kali is a very good manager. He always make us feel welcomed and very attentive towards our needs. The hotel is clean and have plenty of space car parking.

Rooms are large and have a nice view.

We will definitely by returning to his friendly place.

Our stays here are always wonderful - but last time we left some precious Jewellery in the room & did not realise till halfway home on a 5 hr drive. The way the management handled our situation was excellent. They found the jewellery, kept it safe for our daughter in law to pick up & their honesty & prompt reassurance shows what good people are running this establishment. 5 stars on every level... legends!!!

What a fabulous property; perfect location, extremely comfortable, and reasonably priced - great design with plenty of detail to make for an amazing stay; super clean and spacious room with large comfortable bed, and great (free) parking facilities. Staff are friendly, service-orientated, and provided exceptional customer service. Perfect for business or leisure - we will definitely be back!

I have stayed at Killara Inn for many years mainly because host / manager Kali always made me welcome and would always attend efficiently to any requests.
I returned there recently to be absolutely delighted at the renovation and upgrade to the rooms.
Fabulous, tastefully decorated with brand new furnishings.
I prefer staying where fresh air is on offer rather than air conditioned hotels.
Yes there is air conditioning for your comfort but also fresh air available simply by opening the sliding door.
Combined with easy parking absolutely makes Killara Inn my home away from home.

We stayed at Killara for 2 nights. Although it is an older style hotel, the rooms were beautifully refurbished. The bed was comfortable and furnishings new. The unit was very clean. They accommodated my various requests without any problems. We arrived late at night on a cold, wet & miserable Sydney day - it was lovely to walk into our room - they even turned the heater on for us! Thank you!

I was fortunate to be invited to an event for The Hornsby-Ku-Ring-Gai Post at the Killara Hotel and Suites recently which was held in the court yard. It was a most enjoyable event with friendly staff, excellent food, and a very convivial environment. The new management have done a great job with the recent extensive renovations.
