Oh my gosh. This is our favourite Indian restaurant in Townsville. We try to eat there every weekend. Try Gol Gappy or Gappo sorry if I missed the spelling. The most interesting entree ever. And their meals are crazy good. Love love love. Try it.

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Royal Flavours in Townsville, and I must express, it was truly delightful! Upon entering, I immediately felt like a valued guest. The staff's warm hospitality and attentive service ensured that every aspect of my dining experience was exceptional. The ambiance was both refined and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a memorable evening out. Now, let's delve into the culinary offerings – simply put, they were phenomenal! Each dish was a masterpiece, meticulously presented and bursting with delectable flavors. Their signature creations were particularly outstanding, elevating the dining experience to extraordinary heights. Overall, my time at Royal Flavours was nothing short of amazing, and I eagerly anticipate returning for another culinary journey. Believe me, you won't be disappointed

The best Indian flavours I have ever had in Townsville... the street food menu is to die for. Our 11YO just loved the chili paneer (mild). And the spiced mocktails were a great cool balance to the complex flavours in the food.

An intimate little restaurant where you can really feel the love in the food & the pride in the service.
I took a friend to dine who eats mainly plant based meals & there was a huge menu of both plant & meat based meals. Everything we shared was gorgeous in taste & presentation. The new owner even came out to ensure we had enjoyed our experience which was such a personal touch. I love the “street food” component of the large menu, so need go back to try more of these intriguing sounding items.
This will give the other Indian restaurants a run for their money in Townsville.

Staff were absolutely lovely and very accommodating. Food is honestly the nicest Indian we have ever had. I believe they flame grill their meat and then add it to their signature sauces and vegetables which make for a deliciously tasty experience. Furthermore, we even asked for a fancy drink to make our little girl feel special and the lovely young lady said "leave it to me" and created a fancy mocktail. My only recommendation would be to dim the lights slightly, increasing the ambiance, to create the complete package, but that's just nit picking. Highly recommend.

A big yes from my tastebuds. The food was an absolute delight! Good sized servings and tasted really fresh. Will definitely return on my next visit to Townsville.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting an event at The Indian Royal Flavours on Palmer Street in Townsville, and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The venue was spacious, with a capacity of 100-150 guests, and the indoor and outdoor sittings were perfect for our needs.

But what truly made our event stand out was the exceptional service and food provided by the owners and chefs at Indian Royal Flavours. The buffet was super delicious and exceeded all of our expectations. The chefs were hands-on in delivering the best service, ensuring that our guests were satisfied and had an enjoyable experience.

The owners were also very accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process, answering all of our questions and ensuring that everything was taken care of. They were very attentive to detail and made sure that our event was a success.

Overall, I would highly recommend The Indian Royal Flavours to anyone looking for an excellent event venue and service. The food was exceptional, the venue was spacious and well-maintained, and the owners and chefs were very attentive and helpful. We look forward to booking another future event with them!

Been going to this restaurant everyday and have tried different dishes , love it . Excellent chef and the girls on the counter are so sweet and always have smile on their face . The best Indian restaurant in the town . Couldn’t recommend more !!

I have only eaten Indian food one other time in my life which turned me off the cuisine, but this restaurant have converted me. They even went out of their way to help me because the spice was little hot , but I am a sook . The staff gave me a glass of mango lassi , omg so yum.Thankyou for one of the best experiences

Best butter chicken hands down. We just walked in before a Cowboys games, were served straight way. The service was fast and friendly.

Have been craving Indian food for a while now but haven't been to a single Indian place in Townsville yet as I wasn't convinced by the other existing ones.
This place though made me super happy. Restaurant itself is very nice and modern looking. Customer service was great, waiters constantly made sure we are doing good and took away empty plates from our table quickly which was very pleasant as we ordered a lot of different dishes and only had little space.
We tried the lamp cutlets, tandoori chicken, Rogan Josh chicken, rice, dips and naan bread. Naan was absolutely beautiful and my partner's favourite was the lamb, I just loved it all. Food was simply amazing and authentic. Very reasonable priced too, only paid $60 for the lot and half of it we took wrapped up in containers for next day's lunch as it was sooo filling!
Overall we had an amazing night, will be returning very soon. This is one of my new favourite places.

Must recommend to everyone specially Indian if you miss Indian taste.

It is SO good! I came right before closing time, but they still offered me a table and recommended a delicious meal (Kashmiri chicken) if I remember that correctly.
Staff is very friendly and everything looks super clean and well decorated.

Finally Townsville got good restaurant with authentic test and different varieties of food.

Food Test: Very authentic and wide range of food (5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Food serving: Service needs more synchronised, curry and naan come together and makes sure less waiting time.(4 starts ⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Food presentation : 5 Starts ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ambience, nothing much noticeable to make it looks like Indian restaurant, I know it's just new restaurant hopefully they will do some work on it.
