Had used the product for quite a few years as software was very user friendly. The support was extremely poor, took 6 months for them to get back to me, when I logged a support call on many occassions. I ended up finding my on solutions to problems. I have now moved to a more expensive and trusted brand where they call back in 24 hours.

Outsourcing support to staff with no technical knowledge, staff members need the customer's help when attempting to locate system files created by Reckon. Staff have no clue what SMTP is and do not understand that the mailto feature barely works and will constantly attempt to change you to the mailto feature even when advised and show that it does not function correctly. Staff promise you a call back, where you hope that you will be able to speak with someone that knows how to use the software but I would not recommend holding your relying on this to ever happen.

Getting support from Reckon is like playing Russian Roulette, but you have 6 rounds loaded and each one wastes at least an hour of your time.

While I have had the occasional issue with MYOB, their support is at least knowledgeable and helpful.

Not sure about the quality of the software but the company is simply atrocious to deal with. I spotted unauthorized charge on our credit card made by Reckon. Tried to call them but waiting times are ridiculous. Contacted them online and got response from Umesh requesting a copy of credit card statement. I sent it to him the next day and never heard from him ever since despite several follow up emails. I lodged chargdeback with credit card company. All that headache for $5!

Very poor customer service. It takes so much time to get any issues resolved. The staff avoids phone calls and doesn’t get back on time. Have not provided the services that we paid for. Upon asking for discount, the staff completely ignored it. Highly disappointed.
