Real Thai Esan Of Whittlesea

Having Thai food available in Whittlesea is a godsend! I remember the previous Thai restaurant that had closed down and was so disheartened until I discovered that Slice of Thai had opened in the same upstairs space!
Prompt service, polite and adept staff, and ultimately, great food at extremely reasonable prices for the portion size.
I called up for a pick-up order and within 20 minutes my order was ready. Walked in the door and the staff were so polite and friendly.
My partner and I ordered the roti bread with satay sauce, vegetarian spring rolls, chicken red curry, pork pad priew wan, and the vegetarian fried rice.
The food was incredible; good amount of meat, packed full of fresh vegetables, good levels of spice, healthy, and the servings are great value for money! Would totally recommend visiting Slice of Thai

Myself and a few friends went here on opening night, and I was blown away. Had the entrée calamari and the pad thai, which were both incredible. Calamari was crispy and cooked perfectly and the pad thai was rich in flavour, piping hot and had a nice heat kick. Service and atmosphere complemented each other perfectly. Staff were prompt and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and cosy. Definitely making this a regular spot and would recommend!!!

A few weeks ago I dined out with friends at your amazing thai restaurant. The food was delicious, we tried a few dishes to share. The Pla Tod crispy barramundi, was a stand out. Service was great, friendly staff. Will definitely be back. Worth the 30 minute drive away.

Making a last minute booking for 10, the staff were fantastic accommodating us at short notice.
We ordered a number of dishes to share including Pla Tod, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Massaman curry, Pad satay, Tom Kha soup and a red and green curry. Everyone agreed the meals were delicious, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Most of us were full but some did order dessert and highly recommend the banana fritter and sticky mango.
Will definitely be back

Came here not knowing what to expect with not many reviews. Ordered a variety of things all were soooo good. Plenty of meat, seafood and vegetables. Thickness of curry often lacks and is watery, but it was perfectly thick here. Probably the best Tom yum I’ve had. Definitely give it a go.

I went the other night and ordered the small main fried calamari and the pork spring rolls. I was in a rush to eat and leave for an event and the food came out very quickly. The food tasted amazing and they had great customer service. It was very reasonably priced too. 100% coming back!!

My family and I had dinner here on Saturday for the first time and were very impressed with the food. A glimpse into the kitchen on the way to our table explained why it tasted like authentic Thai. Very fresh, very tasty and good portion sizes.
The only thing I could comment on is that they didn't serve alcohol, but we were assured that they will be serving cocktails and other alcohol in the very near future.
Will definitely be back.

10/10 absolutely OUTSTANDING food! I had the spring rolls and the Pad Thai here and cannot begin to explain how delicious each bite of Thai food is here and I am really fussy when it comes to food! The service was phenomenal - the kindest people I have dealt with! I am Grateful to have found this gem in Whittlesea! Thank you Ariel, I will be back!

Got a green curry here the other evening, it was delicious! The staff were accommodating and timely, the atmosphere was cozy and my tummy was full! Cant wait to go again, 10/10 would recommend :)

Went there for dinner yesterday! Foods was delicious and good value for money definitely will be back again.

Our family had a lovely meal tonight. Duck Spring Rolls, Crispy Calamari, Panang Curry with Duck, Beef Massaman and Coconut Rice. It was all so very delicious.

Second time going back, they messed up the order, however, when i rang they were very quick to resolve and also provided a discount. Food is delicious and way better than previous owners.
