My husband and I stayed at the Beaumaris Beach Guest House two weeks ago. We received a very warm welcome from Stuart and Judy and the house itself is delightful, just minutes across the road from the beach. Our bedroom was absolutely beautiful, spacious, very clean and very tastefully furnished and decorated. The bathroom was equipped with lovely big soft towels and had very nice toiletries.
We had a delicious evening meal home cooked by Judy (which was an extra to the room rate). The breakfast buffet was beautifully presented, extensive, again with lots of delicious home cooked goodies - we couldn't do justice to it all!
Stuart was a fount of knowledge about local spots and Tasmania in general.
We would thoroughly recommend the Beaumaris Beach Guest House to anyone - it is a real gem!

We had the most welcoming stay at the Beaumaris Beach Guest House!!! Stuart and Judy made us feel like old friends immediately and could not have been more accomodating!!! Stuart gave us the inside scoop on all the best local spots and adventures. Our room was spacious with lots of pillows and blankets, the bathroom had everything a girl needs plus a few, and they had an in-room coffee and tea bar, kettle, and fridge with complimentary cookies and fudge. Breakfast was absolutely first class with many, many handmade delicacies, much of which was locally sourced. AND they had their own beautiful artwork on display with many items for sale (including the fudge)!!! I strongly recommend staying at this FANTASTIC bed and breakfast!!!

This was our second visit to Beaumaris Beach Guest House. We were equally as impressed as the last time, and this time we took family who also loved it. Stuart and Judy are impeccable hosts and all the extra attention to detail and little extras is much appreciated. I even took home a collection of succulent cuttings which I am nurturing.
I highly recommend this place for those looking for accomodation in this area where you are looking for something special

Staying at the Beaumaris Beach Guest House was a wonderful experience. The room was light and airy and the beds very comfortable. Stuart was extremely helpful and gave us great instructions of things to do in the local area. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the home made goodies. A lovely dinner was found only 500 metres away at the Surfside Hotel. Highly recommended. Kenny.

Absolutely fabulous.
The Beaumaris Beach Guest House! What is a guest house? Before arriving, I had never experienced one.
What a treat. To sit down and share a meal with other guests is terrific.
An experience definitely worth giving a go.
Then there was the bed, sensational. This is very, very, very important to me, after all you spend at least 8 hours in it, so you want to be comfortable and comfortable it was.
The hosts, Stuart and Judy are terrific, nothing is too much trouble. Stuart is a walking directory of things to do and see.
The overall atmosphere is relaxed and the food, oh my goodness!
Breakfast is laid on like a 5-star hotel, mueslis, usual and Bircher, fruit breads, delicious homemade yogurt, chia fruit pudding, a plethora of spreads [all home-made], organic juices, coffee, teas, even poached eggs made to order… oh be still my beating heart.
[If you are super nice, Judy may even share a recipe or two].
With all the activities around the area, not a problem working off the kilojoules, until dinner that is.
You have the option to enjoy a superb dinner with wine, beer, or soft drink if you desire and I did desire.
Judy is very accommodating. If you have a diet requirement, just give her some notice and it will be met.
Beaumaris is about 2 hours from Launceston, just far enough away without it being too far.
We enjoyed the Beaumaris beach, Bay or Fires, Siant Columbia Falls, Pub in the Paddock, Pyengana Diary, and the various towns north and south.
Beaumaris Beach Guest House is basically across the road, through some shrub to a magnificent beach. The water is various shades of aqua.
I know, I know, I’m banging on, but truly, we had a brilliant 5 day stay. I highly recommend.

This is definitely the best guest house we have ever stayed. Stuart and Judy are generous, kind and amazing hosts. Do not have enough words to recommend this stay.
We stayed with them only one night, but it was more than enough to understand their hard work and attention to details.
They have prepared an extra very cosy bed for our daughter who’s nine and the room had everything we needed. The delicious cookies baked by Judy and fresh coffee were extra surprises. The room was so cozy with very comfortable king size bed.
We were welcomed by cheese platter with delicious home made jams/ crackers and local Tasmanian products.
We had such a great time playing board games in common room in front of fireplace.
Judy prepared for us the best Christmas dinner ever!! Being far from our families, we can’t ask for a better place to wake up this Christmas. We felt like at home.
Such an amazing breakfast was also included in the room price. It is not possible to describe the great experience in Beaumaris Beach guest house with all these words. We highly recommend you to stay here if you are visiting the east coast of Tasmania.
Guest house is so close to a white sand beach and in great location to visit bay of fires and freycinet park. We can’t wait to be back with our families and friends to share this great experience. Home away from home!!

We stayed at Beaumaris Beach House for the last 2 nights of our trip in Tasmania. Stewart and Judy were wonderful hosts with a great local knowledge, we looked at maps got tips on places to visit. Room was beautiful, relaxing and the bed very comfortable (linen sheets). The breakfast served was great with plenty of homemade treats. I loved looking at the artwork which is displayed. If you love shells be sure to visit Shelly beach which is close by. Thanks so much for such a welcoming and memorable end to our holiday.

Our stay with Stuart & Judy at Beaumaris Beach Guest House was perfect. From the time we pulled up in the drive to be greeted by Stuart, to when we had to (reluctantly) leave this morning, we felt totally at home & comfortable. Our room was cosy & well presented with a comfy King sized bed and a choice of three different pillows for our comfort. The ensuite had quality, full sized toiletries, and very thoughtfully, a night light. Stuart & Judy set up a delicious breakfast each morning for us. Home-made breads, jams, chutneys & vegetable rolls were just a few of the items on offer, along with locally sourced juices, milks, fruit etc. Beaumaris Beach Guest House is a place where you can make use of the loungeroom to sit in front of a cosy fire with a wine or port in hand and enjoy a quiet read, view the artwork (some by Judy) on the walls, or if they're available, have a relaxed chat with Stuart & Judy. They are super hosts, and have a great knowledge of the area to advise on things you can see & do during your stay.
Highly recommended.

Lovely people. Fabulous dinner, great room and wonderful cheeseboard plus wine on arrival. Stuart and Judy are extremely hospitable and really go that little bit extra by providing home cooked treats made by Judy and other scrummy morsels. Beaumaris Beach Guest House is such a nice place to stay that I would recommend it to anyone.

Welcomed by Trudy & Stuart at possibly the best B&B I’ve stayed in . Lovely complementary cheese platter and glass of wine wine and wonderful breakfast. Great in room amenities. Mini bar items very reasonably priced. The hosts couldn’t do enough to ensure a comfortable stay & provide knowledge of the local area. Also recommend The Surfside 150 metres walk for the best chicken burger that you’ll ever eat

Stuart & Judy are amazing hosts, they make you feel at home. The guesthouse is clean, breakfast was excellent and Judy cooked the best meals we have on our trip.
There are plenty of attractions close by, so we used this as our base for a few days.

We absolutely loved Beaumaris Beach Guest House and couldn't have hoped for more during our stay over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Judy and Stuart are wonderful hosts; welcoming, knowledgeable and creative in both their decor and food preperation. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests have a memorable stay with freshly ground coffee in the rooms, little chocolates, Judy's home-baked biscuits, complimentary port and ginger wine, as well as a complimentary cheese board and glass of wine (delicious) during your stay.

Judy is an incredible cook with genius recipes at the ready. Breakfast is an array of flavours, packed with treasures such as homemade breads, homemade spreads (orange marmalade and lemon curd are winners), freshly baked muffins, local milk, homemade Greek yogurt and granola... I could go on. If you have the opportunity to order dinner at the guest house, I would highly recommend doing so. We had the lamb chops and the pork chop. Both were perfectly cooked and came with a huge bowl of vegetables from the local market and their own garden! After chips, parmi and burgers this was such a treat and each individual vegetable was again packed with flavour.

Clearly we enjoy our food but Judy and Stuart's attention to detail allows you to feel perfectly at home here. Judy's colourful paintings and drawings hang from the walls, seating areas are well thought-out, the veranda allows you to enjoy the sounds of the ocean whilst spotting wombats and wallabies in the garden. The rooms are decked out with every comfort and amenity you could hope for, strong WiFi runs throughout the property and boardgames are available for your enjoyment.

Stuart took the time to tell us about the surrounding area and gave us some fabulous recommendations for secret spots at Bay of Fires and elsewhere in Tassie.

Prior to our arrival, Judy and Stuart also helped us to locate and book a Christmas lunch in St Helen's and paid to secure the booking for us. A sign of their generosity and good faith in people.

Another bonus is the wonderful 3km beach accessible just 5 minutes walk from the property.

Quite possibly the best guest house we have ever stayed at. Enjoy!

The best BnB we’ve ever stayed in. Amazing dinner made with local produce and equally great breakfast with homemade breads and jams, fruit salad and home made museli and yogurt. High quality linen, luxurious spa bath and incredibly hospitable hosts. Thanks so much Stu and Judy for all your wonderful care you have for your guests.
