Blue Lake Carpark

Take the walk from this car park up Jarlo Beetle Track and you'll be treated with some 360 degree views of Minjerribah, as well as plenty of opportunities to take some stunning photos of the landscape. Pictured is my girlfriend taking one such photo, not pictured is her violent reaction, moments after realising I'd caught her in the act. This aggression has no place on Minjerribah, or for that matter any of the islands in Moreton Bay, on the lands of the traditional Quandamooka people.

As far as carparks go it's a carpark. Worth a walk to Blue Lake, the times suggested on the map are very generous and won't take as long.

Blue Lake walk is a valuable walking experience. Done in silence the landscape reveals a story worth hearing.

Good car park. Close to the road.

No toilet.
