Blackwood Cronulla

First time here & we had a fantastic lunch sharing some created plates. Great selection, which suited everyone in our group of 4 (including the vegetarian)! Sides chosen were Falafels, Roast Pumpkin, Grilled Halloumi, Smoked Salmon, House Made Hash, Prawn Skewers, Roasted Mushroom with some Truffle Chips! Everything was so tasty!
Drinks menu was simple, but well done. Favourite was the breakfast Martini.
Final word goes to the dessert we shared: the Gypsy Bread, which was fabulous! 👌🏻
Highly recommend this cafe...only downside was the table was too small for all the plates.

Absolutely delighted with the service and food quality, so glad that it’s dog friendly as well, we loved the chilli scrambled eggs on toast and the prawns poke bowl, full of flavour and worth the effort to find this local favourite!

Great place for food at any time of the day but breakfast was really good for us. Great service and although there was a waiting list, we got seated in about 15 min. It's also a great dog friendly Cafe and the food was extremely tasty. Their juices were also awesome and the staff make some great recommendations. See you guys soon!👌

Very good service, great coffee and good portions. We came by around 7:20am and there were only few people, by 7:45am the place was packed. Great vibe.

Amazing little cafe in Cronulla. Smoked salmon poke bowl and green aloe juice was ridiculously awesome! Fantastic flavours and textures and visually pleasing. They have nailed this dish!

Great service, staff were very friendly and attended to us to see if everything was okay. Ordered the wagyu Angus double patty burger, it was delicious and nicely presented.

If you want elevated, unique and delicious food, then come here. We've previously tried the truffled chilli scrambled eggs and today the morning glory which we could not fault. There were other options on the menu which we would love to try. Staff were very attentive and kind.

Fantastic lunch spot tucked away near the beach. The food was top notch and they had happy hour at lunchtime which was a bonus. Good wine and beer selection too.

Today we got a nice breakfast at black wood. A bit busy bit everything was food I ordered chilli chicken schnitzel sandwich with fries potatoes (it was salty to me)and Angus burger + a iced latte and cappuccino. It was delicious. The staff was wonderful. So kind.

Had a great breakfast with friends at Blackwood Cronulla on 25/6/23 and were lucky to grab a table around 8:30am before the Sunday rush started. I’m one of few people who would happily eat a chicken schnitzel for breakfast. 😂 Whilst still as delicious as I remembered, I think that the combination of schnitzel, hummus, burnt sage butter and creamy slaw was a bit on the heavy side. I found myself in want of the zesty fennel salad in my companion’s corn and zucchini fritter dish to balance everything out.

Matcha latte with oat milk was a delight that I would definitely order again. Oh and let’s not forget the delicious, crunchy rosemary salt fries. Deep fried to perfection 👌🏻

I had steak sandwich and salmon poke bowl. The steak was so tendor and juicy and the bowl was so fresh.

We had an absolutely lovely experience in Blackwood, outdoor and indoor seating available, professional staff, meals are beautifully presented and very tasty!

An amazing food experience tucked away down an alley in a part of Cronulla you wouldn't normally venture to.

The food here is different, exciting, unusual, and very pretty to look at! It's also pricey (even for Cronulla), so more somewhere you would go for a special meal than your everyday breakfast).

Staff are friendly and although service was a little slow I wouldn't say it was in any way negative. Plenty of highchairs were available.

Coffee was delicious and definitely a highlight.

We'll be back, but not regularly due to the price.

On a busy Sunday, I decided to visit this lovely cafe and, to my pleasant surprise, even with a queue, we were seated in just about 10 minutes. The food, especially the Morning Glory I ordered, was simply delicious. The service was quick and efficient, and our waitress great. A small heads-up - it does get quite loud inside, but there's the option to sit outside, which is nice. I'd definitely recommend this place. If I lived here, it would no doubt become my go-to spot.

Great menu! the Turmeric Latte and Cinnamon Latte are so delicious. We had the Miso Toast & Avo Toast + poached egg. All very good, large servings and the waitress was very fast when I dropped my fork, replacing it within seconds without a word from me. That is good service. 😃

The cafe was super crowded but the service was very fast and the food was delicious especially the truffle chips and the spicy bacon egg roll

The food were excellent! And the service was equally exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of us told the staff that we were informally celebrating a birthday and they brought out a mini cake for her and didn't even charge us for it!
It's baby friendly, too.
Fair warning: the portion is quite generous, too.🙂

Excellent brunch that is actually worth the money! We ordered Prawn Poke Bowl, Truffles chilli scrambled eggs with mushroom, and morning glory. It was all delicious with great portion sizes.

Delicious breakfast 😋. Tucked away in Surf lane, you can't miss it with the crowds hanging to get a seat and a coffee. We didn't have a reservation and were seated in 20 mins or so. The food was amazing, really clean fresh flavours and served quickly considering how busy it was. The staff were chatty and had time to have a laugh at the table. Very nice 👌🏼, will eat again.
