Frank's Pizza Napoli & Vesuviana Restaurant

This is my 4th time to Frank's over the last 8 year Frank the owner was alive on my 3 of those visits and it was the best experience ever coming to townsville, it was always I have to go to franks for dinner while I'm here. God bless his soul and wish I could of really had a good conversation with him as now I just recently move my family here, some could say that was part of the reason, the food is amazing the staff and family are awesome and very welcoming and now I will make it apart of my children's lives as they where super happy with the food service memorabilia on the wall and they also seen the photo of Frank at the chair he always sat at, I love this place and if you want good food great people and a amazing experience Frank's is your place. 🙏

Tonight was the first night I've ever tried Franks. I was in a bit of a hurry but I still had just such an excellent experience. The food was superb, the service was excellent. All of the staff are really friendly with the exception of one man (who may have actually been the owner interestingly enough). I got the margarita pizza as per the staff's recommendation and it was just perfect. Pizzas are good priced, drinks are a little overpriced so it kind of evens out. It's just so great to get such a warm welcome when you arrive at a restaurant and at Franks tonight, I got just that. Thanks guys. I'll be back.

THE BEST!!! Huge portions, well priced for the size and quality of food. Authentic Italian experience. Menu did not show any gluten free options however we didn’t ask.

I have forgotten how good Frank's is! It's been a while between visits (over 6 years) and both times the friendly service was above and beyond. The food is amazing, generous and fresh.
Family owned and run, it's always a nice change to eat at a place that doesn't try too hard but focuses on the things that matter. Food and its customers. We'll be coming back more often.
Big tip. Bring cash as they have no eftpos.

Just as good as I remember! Went here multiple times when I lived here 10 years ago, and came for a visit recently. The parmy was just as good as I remember! Easily feeds 3 people, and everything comes with Spag Bol. Yum!! A family run restaurant with passion. Frank’s is a Ville Institution!

Excellent food and great service. As a few other reviewers complained about, this place accepts cash only doesn’t take credit cards. However, the stroll to the ATM was well worth it. The food was really, really good and I can’t recommend it enough.

Absolutely love dining at Frank's Pizza Napoli...the staff are efficient and friendly...the meal servings are generous ..the enormous Pork Schnitzel Parmigiana is the ultimate in hunger satisfaction....and the wide variety of Italian meals will please the pickiest of diners ...recommend highly that you go and see for yourself how good this restaurant is ❤💛💚🍷🍝

I had totally forgotten about Frank's in Townsville. When you walk in to the restaurant you may as well be in Italy, it doesn't look like it's changed in 25 years which is it's charm. The food as always was incredible. I will be visiting more often from now on.

Very delicious food. Good choice on the menu, and not just pizza. I was very pleasantly surprised. Service was very good, and food didn't take long to arrive at the table. If you want Italian style food, give it a go. We'll worth itI reckon. And yes, I will go again. The Pork scallopini delicious. Reasonable choice of wine as well.

The Vienna schnitzel with Dianne sauce blew my mind..... With a side of spaghetti instead of salad, I'll be back.
The place doesn't have any computers systems, so expect pen and paper for everything. Cash only, and don't split the table. Walk in, eat, place cash on counter, waddle out, Very simple process.
