Ordered couples combo 2, 2 pieces of fish, 1/2 scoop of chips, 6 calamari rings and 1.25L drink for $29. Solid value, big fish and tasty. Greeted to some great customer service in the shop. Clean and well presented servers and shop. Will definitely be going back. *BIG DAVE APPROVED!*

Got Kings road fish bar today for the first time wasn't disappointed short wait time, fresh hot food and tasted the best I've had in Townsville. Will certainly be back to them every time. Good prices and friendly service.

This has been our go to for 20+ years and we cannot fault them. Generous and consistent servings. The fish is fresh with crisp batter, the chips are always perfectly seasoned and the calamari is delicious! A variety of fresh salads also on offer. If it’s enough to fill teens you know it’s great value for money! The team are friendly, fast and efficient. It’s no wonder this place is always busy.

Always have had a good reputation in town and they lived up to it tonight. Fish was delicious, crumb and batter was thin and not greasy. Fish was huge pieces. I’ll go back but only went here cause my regular shop was shut.

Service was excellent! Made our entire order in 5mins or less and LITERALLY THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS WE HAD. The mackerel and barramundi were amazing. The potato cakes were the crispiest and perfect amazing of salt. Gave us 3 when we ordered 2! And the CHIPS. Large for $10 could feed a family of 5 and excellent quality. Thank you guys! Keep it up!

Ordered fish, chips and a potato scallop for my son and myself this evening.
Service was very fast and friendly, portion size was excellent and the potato scallop was cooked perfectly.
Overall fantastic value for money in today's climate.

So yummy, fresh fish (got the barramundi) and calamari was superb! The lady that attended was very friendly and patient too. Fast service, reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend this place 🙂

Absolutely amazing! The new owners are doing an amazing job and on Easter the customers were supporting them by lining up by the dozens!!! Was a great atmosphere even while lined up waiting for my pre-order. Excellent sign when you have happy customers waiting in a line for a quality product.

Food is fantastic! The service is always spot on as well. I can recommend the fish and salad sandwiches if you're undecided about what to eat..BBQ & Aioli sauce together set it off.

Easily makes the top 3 fish and chips in town! Consistently good food and fast service.
