Salty at Toogoom

I have been to Salty at Toogoom several times since the new owners Denis and War War took over in February. If you are in Toogoom, I highly recommend that you pop in for a Coffee or a Meal.

I visited Saltys at Toogoom for a delightful lunch recently. Very friendly and welcoming staff, from the moment I arrived until I left.
I had a lovely home made sausage roll, salad and the best chips yummo.
A delicious piece of orange and almond cake for sweets and a great coffee
Such a lovely peaceful cafe, with charming atmosphere and fast efficient service.
Highly recommended.
I will definitely visit again to try their other menu items.

First time at Saltys and I was impressed, The eggs Benedict was absolutely amazing, fast service, friendly staff, beautiful place, if they had a Bloody Mary to go with breakfast I would have been set for the day.

I have been twice now. Friendly staff but I think still having a few teething problems (forgetting customers orders). Food selection is good. They have a seperate breakfast menu.

I wish I got a photo of my giant schnitzel burger. Best value burger I've had in a long time and chips were cooked to perfection. Great location to walk down and enjoy your meal on the beach. The owner was friendly as well.

We dropped into Toogum as we have never been! Soooo glad we did! Beautiful coffee and food! I had the breakfast burger it was honestly the best I’ve ever had! Hubby had eggs Benny and he smashed it! Delicious food and coffee! Service was amazing 🤩

Oh we also got to try a sample of the chefs Burmese chicken curry they were handing out asking people to try it and asked for feedback!! That was amazing!! Beautiful flavours! I hope it ends up on the menu 🤩

Lunch at Salty Squid is definitely worth a drop in. We had the seafood platter, a good share size for 2 at $46. It had 4 of everything- fresh king prawns, battered prawn, calamari and fish pieces plus scallops on shell with chips and salad . Tasted awesome . We had a glass of their Rose wine to wash it down, refreshing . You can sit at tables on deck or down the stairs . Staff are very friendly and prompt. Thoroughly recommend .

Popped down to Salty with the family for breaky this morning and it was excellent. My folks shared the big breaky which was massive and perfect for sharing. The kids enjoyed their pancakes and the wife and I loved the smashed avo. All the food was fresh and delicious. Coffee was fantastic and service equally as good. Highly recommended.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by very welcoming staff, who eagerly assisted us as walk in patrons.
Refreshing beverages on a hot day, accompanying our superb meal, made for an enjoyable experience.
Highly recommended a visit here, but suggest you book ahead. 😉

I have read so many reviews about the Seafood Platter for 2 and we just had to try it at lunch today. OMG, totally exceeded expectations- fresh and absolutely delicious! Accompanied by a very nice Chapel Hill Sangiovese Rose. We both enjoyed every morsel!

Four of us went for lunch the staff were great the beer was cold and the food was excellent. I had the prawns with a Greek salad and it was absolutely delicious.

We had Barra and chips,Flathead and chips and a Chicken Snitz burger. All meals were absolutely cooked to perfection.

This restaurant is a hidden gem.

The food, coffee and service were excellent. On Saturday mornings they have a musician as well.

Highly recommend the roasted mushrooms for breakfast

Love this place. Food is awesome, lovely staff & and a beautiful area to go for a walk and look at the scenery or spend the day on the beach before or after.

Yummy breakfast, I had the crepes, and my daughter had the lox and bagel. Great beverages. Friendly service. We picked up some desserts to go, which were also fabulous.

Nice breakfast options, the food is fresh and tasty, really loved the staff. Only 1 very small deduction for the orange juice, obviously tang in it lol. will return.

Wow!!! One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The breakfast croissant was AMAZING and added a side of beans and grilled tomato.
Coffee perfect too.
Wish I lived here so I could have a weekly brekkie 😊

Another great restaurant with very accommodating staff. Dog friendly and awesome food and prices. Advice to book. A great little find at Toogoom
