Gundagai Cabins & Tourist Park

Cannot rate this stay more highly.
Service on arrival was cheerful, helpful and fast. We were provided with a list of dinner and breakfast venues which was much appreciated.
Location was beautiful next to the mountain.
Room was immaculate. Cleaner than the Quest apartment we paid $290 a night for in Adelaide.
No mould,dirt or dust.

This place is like a mini caravan park that also has rooms.We stayed overnight in one of the motel type rooms and it was great. At the time of booking it was also cheaper than the other motels in town, even though it was a bigger room. The room was well equipped with everything you need. It had typical Motel room type stains on the carpet and lounge chair but the room itself, the benches, the bed, the bathroom, the oversized shower and everything else was spotless. Rarely have we stayed at a Motel room so clean, especially the bathroom and shower. Staff very helpful. Short walk into town. Good tv reception. Room was quiet. Perfect for our stopover on the way back to Melbourne.

This is an excellent van park with the best lawns I have seen at any park. My two King Charles Cavaliers love it. Owners are very friendly and accommodating, nothing is to much trouble. The other bonus is they have a caravan weigh station on site,best $40 you will spend.
Highly recommend to everyone seeking spotless amenities, quiet location and walking distance to town.

Stayed in a tiny home for the night before heading back to Sydney from Melbourne. Very comfortable setup with kitchenette, bed and TV. The bathroom is literally outside (under cover) which is clean and functional. They also offer facilities inc BBQs, self laundry and car weigh bridge. We were fortunate to have the manager allow us to keep the door open to the laundry past its closure time to allow our clothes to wash. Would recommend for an overnight stay.

This is a great park.
Short walk to main street pubs cafes and supermarket.
The grounds are spacious and well kept, the facilities modern and clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Will be paying another visit!

Best tourist park I’ve been to.. Vicki was incredibly welcoming.. The facilities are so clean..
I paid $45 to park my van next to power and paid $11 to wash and dry a decent load of washing..
I really do encourage the stop iver if you’re going through and dye for a rest

Drive through under cover parking for your caravan /motorhome. Plus you can weigh your vehicle on their weighbridge

New this season - brand new tiny homes (incl. kitchenette, TV) with external renovated bathroom facilities (great shower pressure), everything clean and working. ~10 min walk to the pubs!

Stayed at the Gundagai Tourist Park travelling from Queensland to Melbourne with the caravan. Was the perfect place to stop. Good clean amenities. Lush green healthy grass. Easy park to drive in and out of. Walking distance to six eateries for either breakfast lunch or dinner. Supermarket was within walking distance too. Good customer service and highly recommend this park. I would book again.

Highly recommend as a stop over between Melbourne and Sydney. Clean, well appointed and friendly staff. We stayed in a cabin that was pet friendly and it was very clean and comfortable. My dog loved being able to run off leash in the grass area too!

A guide of what to see and do was great, was told of things we had not found in our research.
The undercover sites is great, easy access and we at 14m long no trouble to stay connected if we chose which we didn't as it was off to see the dog on the tuckerbox and so much more.
The tian resturant (top tucker) is walking distance as is the town centre.

Lovely cabin and location...within walking distance to town . Comfy bed and spacious unit. A little traffic noise at night but not too intrusive. Very accommodating staff when we changed from a powered site to a cabin on the day of arrival. Nice walks nearby.

Absolutely, unequivocally fabulous. From the first phone call to actual stay Leanne & Dave have been the perfect hosts, friendly and helpful, so much so that a brainstorming chin wag with Dave found a solution to making the dog ramp easier for Swanky to use. Dave even built a little prop up step which further made the ramp a lot easier for Swanky. This was definitely beyond the call of duty.

It doesn't stop there with these wonderful hosts, a bowl of Dave's home grown tomatoes on the bench free for the taking and delicious.

I truly hope Leanne & Dave are appreciated, friendly is one thing but to do things which are not really part of the job is a valuable asset to any business.

We pulled into this great park with a late check-in, pre-arranged with the wonderful staff on our way between Melbourne and Sydney. The park was conveniently located just off the motorway, well signed and access was clearly marked and explained by the staff. A very clean park, excellent park amenities (shower and toilet) and easy to navigate in and out. We will be staying here again next trip.

We've stayed here a number of times with our caravan in an ensuite drive through site. Super convenient stop on long roadtrips. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. On a number of occasions they have moved our bookings at short notice. The best service. Very clean and neat.

Nicely kept tourist park. Cabins clean and comfortable. Service at reception was efficient and friendly.

What a wonderful little stop over spot. We stayed in the deluxe two bedroom cabin with our three kids and it was absolutely perfect.
Very clean cabin with everything we needed. Lovely touch with the electric blankets on every bed and even a spare heater if needed.

What a relaxing, breath of fresh country hospitality this has been. Easy walk to town. Bathroom exceptionally clean...excellent showers. Undercover sites with easy drive thru sites. What a delightful place to stay. I certainly recommend.

Always love staying here when looking for an overnight pit stop in comfort and safety. We book an undercover drive through site with ensuite, and walk to dinner and the shops which are just a short stroll away.
The facilities are great and clean, very dog friendly, and right next to the local pool.

Everything about the Gundagai Tourist Park and Cabins is top-notch. Nice and quiet, very tidy and well-kept. The cabin we stayed in was updated and very clean. Fantastic bathroom and big shower. Comfy beds. Even a nespresso machine! You don’t find that often. And the management were very kind in posting me back some clothes I had mistakenly left behind. Many thanks! Don’t stay anywere else in Gundagai!
