Cooee Coffee Bar is located in the building behind the shell petrol station just off Hume Highway...

We didn't have anything to eat, so I could not comment on that, although we grabbed a cup of coffee, and I can say it was a good cappuccino!

The service was pretty quick for how busy the coffee bar was!

There is plenty of parking available next to the Shell petrol station, and toilet facilities are inside the building...

There are some other food options here in the petrol station that are way better than Oliver's, which is next door to the petrol station.

If I could give them no stars I would. I ordered a piece of banana bread as it was the only thing that looked edible. What I received for $8 was a tiny burnt dry end piece that I couldn’t eat. Absolute waste of money. Wish I had checked reviews and had seen all the negative ones beforehand.

Why I didn’t read reviews first I’ll never know! If you need a break and a coffee, hold on 5 minutes til Gundagai or get it at the truck diner! This place was disgusting and rude! They don’t know coffee at all, yuk! And overpriced!!!

Miserable staff who couldn't care less. Hopeless, I'd rather cut off my right arm than get a coffee from them again. Ordered a coffee and she just sat there waiting for me to tell her what size. Then I asked for a cup of hot water and she just refused. Went to the servo, and offered to pay $2 (price of a coffee) and he said not to worry about it.

The servo dollar coffee would have been a much better experience.

After kindly requesting if the coffee could be remade – I was given a latte instead of a cappuccino, their true personality showed. Apparently in 7 years they had never had a customer complain. (Find it hard to believe)

I was asked if I'd prefer a refund instead of having the coffee fixed (not remade). When I agreed to the refund, I was promptly denied it just so it would make me happy. This I don’t understand. A refund would have made me happy. Not asking if I’d like one then withdrawing the offer. Followed was the most pathetic behaviour I have ever experienced.
Coffee ended up everywhere and I was accused for deliberately causing the mess. If I wasn’t so upset and my hands were not shaking so much because of the utter rude and threatening behaviour, just maybe I could have held the coffee cup in a manner that would had prevented the coffee spilling over the counter and floor.

Terrible coffee and terrible customer service, me and my friend ordered a latte and lactose free cap they were not even busy but took ages to do it 🤷‍♀ Finally got the coffee had 2 sips it was terrible wasn’t even hot and was bitter bad and my friend wasn’t been lactose free milk she couldn’t even drink took the 2 cups back not asking for refund but to do another one but the rude unprofessional guy at the register wouldn’t re do it shocking said don’t come back 😀😀 surly never again 😁😁😁😞 very bad terrible experience, don’t recommend! Bad experience in general.

Absolutely terrible coffee and awful service.

I ordered a long black coffee. It was weak and insipid. After two sips I couldn't take any more so I took it back - not requesting any refund, but saying that it was terrible. The manager was rude and obnoxious, and even suggested that I'd be better off buying a $2 coffee from the servo out front than buying their coffee. Next time I'll oblige.

2 girls behind the counter.
One sitting back on a swivel chair eating kfc, with her open toed shoes up on the wall right next to the food prep area. The other eating chips between serving customers, with a quick lick of the fingers to clean up 🤮
My partner and I were watching in complete disbelief and then came the cherry on top…..

I find it a little challenging to read people sometimes when they are wearing a mask but there was no difficulty here. The woman was very abrupt and inpatient as if she had something better to do, the Centre was empty apart from myself and my husband so you would think she would welcome a sale. I asked for a cuppachino not too hot - it was lukewarm, hubby's was not very hot either and very weak. I asked for a banana bread with no butter, the bread was stale and she had buttered it. Hubby took it back, the woman was on her mobile and was quite annoyed at hubby that she had to put her call on hold, she was talking to a friend. All hubby got was an agruement that I had asked for butter, why would we take it back if I wanted butter and she had buttered it? But she continued to argue that she was right and refused to provide a fresh one. In hindsight, she did me a favour as I did try a corner of it eventually where she had not buttered it and it was like rubber, my guess... about 3 weeks past the use by date. Many years ago this was a nice little cafe and we enjoyed going there but now will be giving it a very wide berth.

2 rude girls refused to make a milk shake saying they had been there since 8am & had to take there lunch break right that second at 11:30am.
Went across the way to Montey's Dinner, Milkshake & service both amazing.

Worst coffee, extremely rude staff member and too pricey (charged $6.20 for a medium mocha). Wow!! Requested to add a sugar, so staff got too annoyed with me, looked like I just cut her pay for the week. Very bad experience.

Milkshake was so overpriced and tasted like warm milk with lack of flavouring , lady served me was rude and coffee wasnt even that great either like if your gonna say best coffee actually make the best coffee

Ordered a thick-headed but received a milkshake, when questioned their response the icecream machine was not working.
Should inform the customer before making.

Absolute filth !!! No mask mandatory at the moment no gloves .I ordered an egg and lettuce sandwich my husband a ham tomato toastie as walking back to my car I could smell something. My husband opened the toastie smell was coming from the ham and it wasn’t even toasted just warm bread I opened the egg lettuce sandwich which was the hardest bread shriveled lettuce was slimy and brown I took mine back in she said I’ll give you another then drove her finger through the packet to check omg !
My husband in disgust took his back in and told her what he thought she said she would make another he said no ,mine went into the bin , in this day and age not on if I could give no stars I would disgusting! And this is a busy main shell road house .
