FAT Freddy's Fish Bar Take Away.

Speechless!! The first bite of my fish burger sent me down memory lane. I almost felt like I was back in the far north of NZ... Every bite brought back memories from my childhood to my young adult days😍 I think this place should be a 5 star rating with a 10/10 for everything hands down. The food, the service and the atmosphere are on point. Thanks for the most enjoyable fish and chips I've ever had in this country since I left home. We'll be back for sure! Thank you all so much❤

Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Everything is handmade. Cooked perfectly. Best fish and chips we've had in a long time. And we had a pineapple ring with cinnamon sugar too. So delicious! We'll be back soon!

Dan had a hankering for a good ol hamburger, I'm from the UK so of course I went the fish n chips. The burger was old fashioned greasy, just the way it should be, and yes it was cooked with love. The huge piece of fish cooked spot on with crunchy chips to match. Back soon for sure.

I've been buying fish and chips all over for 20 years and I must say the fish and chips from this shop has to be the best I've ever had! we've been 3 times now and ordered different fish and it's always so fresh and never greasy or over cooked. Simply amazing!!! and the service just as good.

OMG my wife and I stopped in here for the first time and ordered 2 works burgers and chips. This would have to be the best burger I have ever had and the chips were great to. Very happy customers we will be going back for sure 👍

My partner and I went to Fat Freddie's for the first time tonight. We both got chicken shnitzel burgers and a potato scollop each as well as a small chips. Was easy to customise the burgers. Everything was amazing, cooked perfect, fresh and the price was even better. Only $28 total for a big feed for 2 people. Would absolutely reccomend, definitely going back again.

Best fish and chips for years! My husband always orders that dish but I can't get past the fish tacos, crispy, light, tasty! Tried the 'special' for lunch today. It was roast pork belly and apple sauce on a roll. Without a doubt, the best sandwich I have eaten in my 64 years of life!!

The best fish n chips in a 100km radius hands down !!!!! It’s consistently good and fresh every time.
I drive 30mins from home past at least six fish n chip shops just to eat at Fat Freddie’s !!! Only open Thursday to Sunday 4pm - 9pm so I plan this trip once a week.
I’m moving back to Victoria and will miss this shop immensely. Do your taste buds a major favour and get into it.

Stopped here for lunch, very friendly staffed, quick service and the food was great, awesome portions fresh and reasonably priced. Recommended and will certainly stop there again

The best chips ive had in Lismore no make that NSW so far, fish was nice calamari was melt in the mouth top notch we wil be back

The people are lovely ,the shop is clean, they play great music. The burgers are huge, the chips are lovley and fat. I just wish they had sea scallops.

Great works burger and chips! Lovely staff with ample cheeky banter. Chips are often some of the best in the northern rivers area.
