The Staff are friendly and helpful and Rooms are clean and comfortable. A great location at which to stay in Lismore!

Went to the tavern for a Christmas party, was amazing, kind staff, friendly security, absolutely fantastic food with a lovely welcoming atmosphere, 100 percent would recommend.

A real gem of a place. We're travelling from Brisbane to Sydney, from the UK. we stopped locally and were recommended this place. The steak, burgers and fish n chips were excellent. One of the best meals we've had . Friendly staff and great location. Would highly recommend.

Great food, service & price

Dropped in for lunch and it was amazing. Tasty meal cooked to perfection in every way. Great value for money and friendly service through the bar and restaurant.

Expected something fairly standard and instead got a quality bistro menu with excellent specials. The celeriac and potato soup with chorizo was really delicious on a cold day in June.

Goonellabah Tavern has great pub and restaurant style meals. It caters for functions as well as offering a varied timetable of social and sporting events.

It’s a venue that is every locals address book and is also an integral part of the local scene.

Omg the food is amazing and so bloody delicious. Great value for money. Service is fantastic as well.

Was there for a bday dinner. The access to the bar and dinning area was excellent, the food was also excellent, good size serves at reasonable prices ....the beer was cold, and a great variety of beer to choose from, however no light beer on tap had to purchase bottles if your driving and want to drink .

Just had a great meal here, came for the Monday night roast, which was plentiful and the veges were fresh and perfectly cooked. All staff were lovely, from the bar to the servers to the kitchen. I asked about gluten free and staff were excellent at advising what contained gluten and what they could offer as a substitute. I was able to have both the main and and the entree choices I wanted with a few tweaks, and they were delicious. It was so refreshing to not have to spend more to get less because of my food intolerance. We'll be back.

Called in for lunch, what a surprise. This place is fantastic, food is great. Extremely well done ,and plenty of it . We were totally shocked ,at the meals coming ,out of the kitchen,they all looked spectacular. Give this place a try .

I was very impressed with their COVID plan, stayed for a meal and had the best steak I have had in a long time. Cooked perfectly oh yes the beer was cold. Will call in for dinner again.

Ordered a sirloin steak with mushroom sauce for lunch. I must say, compliments to the chef. That was one of the best cooked steaks I have had, in a very long time. Staff are all very friendly and professional. Would recommend a visit!

Our favorite tavern with laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. We had our wedding here and received so much support with planning and the best value for money. I would recommend it to anyone.
