First time but we absolutely loved the experience here. Food was amazing - had the tacos and pumpkin ravioli- out of this world. Also had the coconut Pannacotta 🥥 😋. Their cocktails were also amazing though a little pricey for the serving size :) - but overall definitely coming back and highly recommended

Lively and happening atmosphere on a Saturday night with a large group to celebrate a friends birthday. Set menu due to the size of the group with some great freshness and variety! Mains were substantial without sacrificing any of the flavour. Friendly staff and a place I would like to go back to!

Honestly this place is such a local gem.
We tried our luck on the Sunday public holiday without a booking and we were lucky to be seated within 15 minutes, the restaurant was bustling with every table full, but the hostess accommodated us as she knew a party was preparing to leave at the time we arrived.
The menu is all share plates, ordered in smallest to largest so you can pick and choose what you want based on how hungry you are. The food all tastes divine. It's a fusion of cultures, some highlights were the sang choy bow and the sheftalies (sausages). The cocktail menu is also extensive and of the ones I tried they were delicious and creatively concocted. the chocolate creme brulee for desert was a showstopper. There are bathrooms on site, you just go down the nifty little lift to get to them, which is a novelty in itself. Would come back here again and again!

what a fantastic find!! a local family business that serves the most amazing food.. love everything about this place - apart from the most delicious meals you’ll find, the atmosphere, decor & amazing friendly / helpful staff will make your lunch or dinner a wonderful foodie experience. highly recommended for lovely cocktails, extensive wine list, amazing diverse menu with beautiful food, & great service. Just had THE BEST lobster served on an asian veggie base, unbelievable. Have also had the coral trout, ribs, pea mint & feta salad.. too many lovely dishes to recommend :)
ps. and we took takeaway ribs for the kids lol

Came here for my 18th birthday and it was worth it to say the least. The restaurant had a cool aesthetic and great music throughout the whole night. They had a great variety of house cocktails and I definitely recommend the cheeseburger pizza to anyone who loves cheeseburgers. The food was great and came out swiftly. The customer service was great, when they brought out the cake, they switched the music to an energetic cool happy birthday song and all the staff clapped as the cake made its way over. Thanks guys for making my 18th memorable!

Hidden gem in Kyle Bay! A group of us had the most wonderful evening at Cubbyhouse. When we get together, we're so busy catching up that we normally forget to look at the menu. The team at Cubbyhouse made it so easy for us, they checked what dietary requirements we had and tailored the dishes to suit which takes away the worry and fuss. If youre looking for a place with great atmosphere, delicious food and cocktails (highly recommend D Boss), give Cubbyhouse a go, you won't be disappointed.

AMAZING. Our visit was for lunch and the service was brilliant from the greeting at the door til the payment of the bill. Outstanding service - very welcoming and helpful and knowledgeable of the choices we were making. The food was a whole new level. So many delicious options it was hard to choose and we were extremely satisfied with each and every thing that came to our table. We were also envious of what was being taken to other tables as well. This only means another visit is in order. The decor of this establishment is very detailed to the name of the location and makes the environment part of your experience here, even the trip via the lift to the amenities is cool. Highly recommend you give The Cubbyhouse a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Having recently moved to the neighbourhood we were excited to try this local restaurant that seems to have quite a buzz surrounding it. Well we weren’t disappointed! The food was absolutely scrumptious!!! The menu has plenty of variety, with something to suit all tastebuds. If there is a must-try dish I think it’s the octopus - absolutely sublime. Even the Greek salad is a level above your average Greek salad. And the roast pumpkin - for a vegetarian dish, this is so tasty you won’t miss meat at all! Delicious food coupled with wonderful service - will definitely be back for more!

This restaurant was recommended to me by two friends. They were not wrong. There is adequate parking in nearby streets. The food was great, we had Sourdough garlic bread (a must), Tempura oysters, Devil prawns and calamari and Creme caramel for dessert. The drink list is smallish but they will make you just about any cocktail, we had a whisky sour and a margarita. Our waitress Chantelle was attentive and charming. Will we return.....Absolutely!!!

Great service and great food. A variety of dishes available which all fit together nicely and can be shared. Loved the garlic bread, crispy skin barramundi special, desserts, everything. Highly recommend.

I had wanted to dine here for ages and let me tell you it did not disappoint, the food was amazing and the service was friendly and professional. I definitely recommend and please try the zucchini flowers and the chicken and prawn lettuce cups, omg!!

Easily my favourite restaurant in all of Sydney.
Friendly and on-point staff and the quality of food can't even be put into words.

I don't know how I didn't know about this place but I can't recommend it enough. The food was amazing, the service top notch, and the value was just amazing.

Cubbyhouse in Kyle Bay has such a cute and unique vibe. The interior is cool and very nostalgic. The staff are all so helpful and super friendly, the drinks are delicious and the food is exceptional. I was there for a Christening and everything was perfect. There is plenty of parking on the street and it is easily accessible. There is even a lift to take you down to the toilets.

Came here quite hungover with (shoutout) beautiful new girlfriend. We were frazzled, the kitchen wasn’t open yet but we shown in and devoured 3 courses of delightful dishes. Excellent service and even better food. Definitely coming back again. Thank you!
