This is my regular shop after my class and today the owner is doing a new product trail.

Very interesting new roti, name “roti Jala”, mixed with pandan flavor, and give this subtle freshness to the boneless chicken curry.

I got my free one at the demo, really enjoyed it and brought the full dish ($12.5 ish). Highly recommend to try! Fried rice is also not bad at all!

This place serves Malaysian & Indonesian dishes.

I normally order the crispy fish hijau when I go here but it wasn’t available for delivery. So I ordered the the ayam sambal hijau via Ubereats, the green chilli sambal was so good!

Only wish they had the fish version available for delivery as well!

The best Char Kuey Teow we had in Sydney ever!!! Taste exactly the same as the one from Geroge Town Penang. Thank you Uncle Jim for bringing amazing Malaysian cuisine to Sydney.

My boy friend and I always feel very comfortable to eat at Old Jim Kee, very simple but comfort dishes, with very generous serving size. Located conveniently just right in the CBD area Spice Alley, my favourite Malaysian store in Sydney.

Love their new dish- curry chicken with pandan roti! Look amazing on their postera caught me in the first glance! Curry is tasty with full flavour and chicken is tender, perfectly cooked. The fancy pandan roti has a nice green lance presentation great for IG~ Yet, I love its soft hint of special pandan twist which won't make it too odd to go in a savory dish. The pandan roti is much lighter and less oily compare to traditional roti, guilty-free to enjoy it, lov'in it!

Have eaten at Old Jim Kee, Spice Alley several times now and am never disappointed.. The highlight dish is char keow teow is very delicious. Nice people serving us.
