The seafood platter at this restaurant might be the best in Tasmania! The environment is excellent, the staff are very friendly. The seafood is very fresh, delicious, and the fish meat is firm and juicy, and it's great value for money!! Much better than many seafood restaurants in Hobart. Despite the crowds, the service speed is excellent! Hopefully, they can continue to maintain this standard!

Enjoyed lunch there today. Lovely staff, delicious food and beverages, quick service despite being packed. The best seafood chowder outside of Ireland. Very reasonable prices too. Can recommend.

Had a very late lunch, we shared the mixed seafood for two and it was great. Also had a very nice sex on the beach cocktail. We got there just after 3 as we had done the 2.5 hour walk at adventure bay around the fluted cape walk, so very hungry and we still didn’t finish it.

Nice room. It seems small from outside but it’s actually really big inside, and there is a small yard facing the sunset.
Their wings and chips are really good. And definitely try their Bruny ciders, they are really nice.

Thursday lunch was great!! We had their takeaway menu food (it’s a bit cheaper but excellent value) on the outside tables overlooking the bay, washed down with a Moo Brew. Fast service and big portions - life’s pretty good!!!

The food is really good here, and there's a lot of selection. I really enjoyed the steak and chips, and on another occasion the chicken cordon-bleu. Nice view of the Channel from your table as well/

Amazing food! The oysters with gin & cucumber was divine, spicy chicken wings tasty and Cider excellent. Came back for their take out vege pizza with cheesy garlic bread. Hands down excellent meals all round! Book during the busy season. Bar server friendly and helpful.

Good food. Nice staff. Good local cider on tap. Healthy indoor plants. I am always happy to see the latter - it shows someone cares!
Had a great lunch.

We had dinner here recently, and all of us enjoyed our meals. It was busy, and I'm glad we booked ahead. Would definitely go back next time we are on Bruny Island. Went for a short walk on the beach afterwards, just over the road from the pub.

Fantastic fish and chips in a wonderful location. Was so excited to eat it forgot to get a photo but it was a huge serve. Lucky we were sharing there was plenty to eat.

One of the top meals of our Tassie trip - don't be fooled, the food exceeds your standard pub quality. The porterhouse and wallaby bolognese were both great, impeccably cooked and sizes big enough that we had to take some home! We also got lucky on a fabulous view across the water back to the mainland. A pity we were leaving the island the next day or we would've returned. Remember: no licking anyone!

Stopped for lunch here and the food was great! We had a warm quinoa salad and fish and chips, both excellent. The place was busy with tables inside all reserved, so we rugged up, sat outside and enjoyed the view.

Good food. Plenty of parking available. There’s one electric car charger in the car park available. The food comes in a large portion. Waiting time around 30 minutes to get your food if it’s not too busy

A food and beverage business run extremely well.
It will exceed your expectations even if you have to wait a little for a superb meal.
Did I mention ALL the craft beers on tap too!
So yourself a favour... Just go!

What better place on the island to kick back and have beer over-looking over the bay on Bruny Island. Expansive menu and best to book ahead in busy periods. We were lucky to grab a table in early Jan on a weekday. Famous Chicken parmi is massive but well worth it!

Sooo good. Stayed the night in our van which was a fantastic option. Went the seafood chowder and a local bottle of wine both of which were to die for. Wifey loved her linguine. Had a look around Bruny. Can't thank the owner and staff enough. 5 Star all day.
