Don’t google the Clump mountain national park, or it will be hard for you to find the walking trail. Google the north mission beach, and you will see a small parking space with the Clump mountain national park sign, on the left hand side there is the walking trail entrance. It only takes about 30-40 mins to the top, so it wasn’t too hard for everyone! Enjoy the views here :)

Walked the Clump Point National Park Lookout track this morning and what a view! Looking South East towards Dunk Island and the Clump Point Boat Harbour. It is truly beautiful. The walk is a zig zag track (not too steep) through thick rainforest on a good track. Some steps. Takes about 1/2 hour to get to the top. Recommend this walk.

Lovely walk. Lots of interesting plants. Path mostly shaded
Peekaboo views through vegetation.
Some stairs but not overly steep.

Loved the walk. A bit muddy at times. It's not too steep as it weaves through the rainforest to end at the pinnacle with a great view. Watch out for tree snakes that might be lying on the pathway thinking which tre to climb. 😁

Outstandingly beautiful and if you sit quietly for a little while you'll hear the sounds of true tranquility! It's a hard walk up and there is no assistance for lesser abilities than full health, strength and fitness. Follow ALL the rules....too easy to get into trouble......

Gorgeous spot located in North Mission Beach. Take the walking track into the rainforest, or sit on the beach with a lovely picnic.

The Netflix movie 'Irreverent' thinks the same using this as a location for filming.

Clump Mountain is a unique place to visit. The trail winds up the mountain on the seaward side and offers stunning views to the north. Rainforest keeps the trail shaded from the tropical sun. Cassowaries are frequently seen crossing the track. Reaching the summit you are rewarded with a view that is simply breathtaking. It encompasses Clump Point Dunk Island and Mission Beach. The return journey takes you to the other side of the mountain and offers a glimpse of true rainforest. Worth the visit.
Another gem is Altitude140 luxury accommodation. It has one of the most stunning views in Queensland. It is known as one of the top ten beach homes in Queensland.

A great area. A shame it will be ruined by tourism.
