The venue in Glebe has old-school prohibition style with gorgeous old leather lounges and heritage features. Food is elevated comfort classics like cheeseburger springrolls, pulled pork sliders, mac & cheese croquettes, truffle fries and mushrooms linguine which totally hit the spot with a delicious twist and the vibe is good times all round!

Finally reopened after some huge renovations- but definitely worth the wait. Absolutely gorgeous setting and excellent cocktails and the food isn't bad either. The courtyard is beautiful and upstairs they have regular live music.

Visited Derby house for a an event, had always walked past by this place but never walked in. I wish I had come in sooner, in the heart of glebe a refurbished Victorian heritage building. The place had the most stunning interiors, grand leather seats to chill out on and surround by framed artworks from top to bottom covering deep emerald walls. Several rooms to choose from one with a balcony to step out on overlooking the courtyard under a stream of fairy lights. It feels like you’ve stepped back into the late 1800s. Each area has its own allocated bar ideal for any occasion, birthdays, work events, engagements or just for a good time! 🎉🍾

They provided a range of delicious food 🍝🍟🍤cheeseburger spring rolls, pasta, risotto, salt and pepper calamari, truffle Fries and an extensive cocktail, whisky, wine and bar menu with drinks extended from wall to wall.

Such a magical location within the heart of sydney would love to organise an event here for future plans or a cheeky catch up over drinks with a friend.

PS: Sneaky bar tip ask for the fire shot at the bottom bar and Jason the bar tender will help you out with a firey kick down your throat, wink wink*

Had an impromptu date night here for their happy hour. What an amazing experience! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and the ambiance was on point. We were shown upstairs even though it wasn't opened to the public yet. Great place for an event for those that are looking. Food and drinks were great and price was pretty good too. Highly recommend the Derby platter! Thank you for a great night! We will definitely be back.

Pretty sweet venue, great option on cocktails and managed to walk in with some great live music on. Cocktail bar tender knows his stuff and great selection of whiskey.

Went to the Derby House, tasty foods and warm service! Very chill place to spend your free time.

The ambiance and the food were absolutely divine. Definitely going back again and again until I’ve tried every single dish on the menu.

An absolute stunning venue! Perfect place for a night out just to chill or even for a private party. They have happy hour during the early nights but food and cocktail taste are on point! Must try the cocktail Winter Blazer during this cold weather! The bar tender will put on a show for you too!
Finally a place like this in inner west.

We had a Christmas party at Derby House a few weeks ago and the team was fantastic. Our group included quite a few young children and the DH team were so accommodating. Great looking venue and welcoming atmosphere – and good value too!

Great location for people watching. Dog friendly in the outside sections. Asahi on tap. Great happy hour. Reno is epic. Can't wait to come back and smash some of the delicious sounding bar food. Well done

Stumbled onto this great newly opened bar with live band which was a treat. There was this Cocktail Connoisseur and recommended us to try this flaming whiskey which was perfect for the winter days. Will definitely come back!

Excellent music and affordable drinks. Would recommend this to everyone. Went there on Friday night and there was a talented jazz duo there and they were phenomenal! Will be back to see them!
