Great tasting beestings, fresh salad rolls and range of drinks. They try to please. We were glad we stopped.

Was recommended by locals, the wrap is fantastic. Nice bakery in town.

Best coffe around. Great food aswell. Very friendly family buisness. I don't know of a better bakery and I go to a fair few !

Had a chunky beef pie, a long John donut and a flat white coffee, enjoyed the lot.

Lovely Bakery, very friendly, great food and Coffee

One of the best bakery's in Vic. We were helped by a lovely lady with such a great attitude, the variety of goodies on offer was fabulous. Fresh fantastic bee sting slice, luscious cream filled lamington, delicious ham and salad rolls and excellent coffee. Thank you for our extra little treat, delish. 🥰

Sandwiches - the bread is always fresh and fillings are fresh and generous
Pastries, and range of other meals is very satisfying. Service is prompt and friendly. We always make Heywood Bakery our lunch/breakfast stop when travelling through.

Wow this place has so much variety of food
I got the chicken n salad roll hiw full was it it was so full it was a cheessy n ham roll that was a bonus it was filled to the brim with tender chicken and great salad was so delicious
I had a wonder though the shop and came upon a packet of jam n icing scrolls so fresh brought a packet my husband had a veggie pie loved it and git a chocolate muffin which had chocolate not just in the middle but was surrounded around the whole way around the top
muffin was like eating the most moist mud cake

The staff are friendly and very accommodating
I highly recommend this Cafe 100% you'll love it and will want to come back

Can not go in there with out buying something very good quality

Had bacon egg cheese heated rolls and coffee for breakfast.
The rolls were scrumptious and coffee excellent...well worth stopping here for.
The donuts were of the same quality, taste and texture of the home cooked we had when kids, the best!

(Covid..) large open store with well spaced inside tables plus outside tables. Good quality coffee and coffee scroll (my standard). Unexpectedly low prices as someone completing a Round Australia trip and used to much higher inland/outback prices.

I like this place and the house is beautiful. I love Mount Gambier. Its the first time that I have been here .

They deserve 5 stars. However, I'm not a fan of their coffee.

The Heywood Bakery is potentially the best Bakery in the Western District area of Victoria 👌 The standard range of pies are great & they also have exceptional quality banana bread 🙂 Fresh bread & rolls , cakes & slices , salad rolls & also some Asian lunch dishes available for takeaway 👌

Great place hadn't been in for years and really enjoyed my visit. Great array of food beautifully displayed and looked mist appetising.

Places like this are the lifeblood and soul to small towns. No matter what you pick you will find yourself ready to come back for more. Its not fancy inside but who cares you are there for a pie. Stop by on your way through and support wonderful businesses like this.
