Budj Bim Campground

Worth the drive from Melbourne! Was min 2 nights booking the campsite when there. Most sites are shared table and fire pits.
Easy short walks around the crater and lake and cave.
Loads of wildlife wallabies, koala's, kangaroos, butterflies, frogs, lizards and nope ropes.....😬

Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. The toilet and shower facilities have been refurbished and are very good, and while one toilet block has been temporarily closed the park was very quiet when we were there so that didn't impact us. Campsite 21 is the pick, it's a good size with picnic table and fireplace, and it's the most private. You won't have any other campers crossing your site to get anywhere. The walks are all very good, particularly Crater Rim, but watch out for leeches on the Lava Canal walk - they're everywhere!

Perfect family campsite with easy manageable hikes to caves and volcano/lava tracks.campsite has toilets with showers, picnic tables and bbq.

Camping with heart and mind. Next to the UNESCO heritage site. Will visit again

Great place for camp. Greater if the toilet facilities can be upgraded and on site drinking water made available.

Great place, good facilities, and really near some great walks around the lake and crater and down the lava canal. The sites are big and shady and all have fire pits and tables with benches. Lots of wallabies and roos hanging around, plus a few koalas. Lots of bird life. Rainwater on site not for drinking but ok for other use. Good toilets and showers.

Yes,yes and yes. Birdsongs all day echidna, koala added to the mix. Great walk around Lake Surprise the Cave, nope don't both.
Campsites huge and great reception so don't book till you arrive,pick your site and confirm with a booking.
No hot showers when we were here toilet block new NO potable water.
Bring wood fireplaces good.
Needs skip bins at the exit of the park follow NSW's lead.

Plus wonderful walks and heritage and we saw 4 Koalas!

Really good campsites, clean and adequate facilities, surrounds a great to explore with caves and walks.

Awesome camping ground, excellent facilities and so many wonderful walks close by. A little more signage along the walks would help.

At times busy but when it isn't, it's a great place.
I am going to try and go in February this year?
