Perfect! Flat and good sized spots to park up or tent on, fire barrel and optional purchase of wood, the nature around is gorgeous with a river flowing nearby and birds and wallabies all around, respectful guests - families and old folk, the owner is lovely and gave some tips for where to travel to next and offered a free info booklet plus some info in the reception, toilets cleaned each morning and plenty of bins to dispose in. Definitely would camp here again, so peaceful.

Extremely peaceful and clean, with the sound of river nearby + open sky + animals roaming around especially from dusk to dawn. You can also make a fire at the site.
Sally is a wonderful host and always happy to help.

Great place to stay for a night or a week. Some powered sites. Huge sites and heaps of room. Toilets and showers (cold but open to the sun).

Great little campground. Can get busy on weekends! Right on the rivulet, surrounded by lush bushland and the birdlife is amazing! Sally is awesome and very friendly and accommodating. Loved being able to use the herb garden as well as the little produce farm gate for delicious jams, eggs etc. Firewood for sale on site rounds everything out perfectly.

One of the best campgrounds we stayed at during our trip around Tassie! Sally was lovely and easy to reach if we needed her! The campground offered huge sites for your campervan (way bigger than any other site we stayed at elsewhere)! Plus each site had a firepit and there was firewood available for 10 bucks which ideal. The toilets were also very large and clean! Overall, such a beautiful and serene spot in the valley, right next to the river! Thanks Sally!

New campground. We had one night for camping but want to stay more longer! It was nice place and clean. We didn’t know that the booking was essential but Sally welcoming us. The toilet is composting which I never tried before. Supplied fire pit each site. Closed from Hobart around 30min driving. Strongly recommended:)

Really loved this campground. Huge spaces (2-3x the size of an average campground) and unique facilities. The compost toilets are great with no smell and solar shower works well when it’s warm and sunny. Would be good for a backup gas heated shower when it’s cloudy/cold though! Great place to stay if you want to hear and see nothing but nature

An amazing campsite with a lovely host, Sally. We are so glad we could fit in due to some cancellations. Extremely clean and sustainable. We loved the zero waste principles here and will definitely be back when we return to Tassie!

Free herbs available, solar showers, compostable (non smelly) toilets, it’s a lovely little gem in the Huon!

Beautiful, quiet, clean campground with massive sites. Amenities are clean (although be aware of solar showers, so they’ll be stone cold if you like a morning shower). The food and herb box out the front is a nice touch and Sally (the owner) is lovely!

Very peaceful, large sites, almost feel like you are the only ones there. Creek runs past. Basic facitities, clean and tidy. A hidden gem !

This was the best campground we stayed at in Tassie. The soothing flow of running water from the nearby creek provided a relaxing soundtrack. Native trees abound, defining each camp-site and affording privacy. The clean toilet facilities were whimsically decorated with charming teapot planters. Our coleslaw was greatly enhanced with items from the herb gardens and the fresh local produce store. The pressure and temperature of the solar shower made for a most invigorating bathing experience. Sally was the quintessential hostess, bringing warmth and contentment to our fireside. We look forward to our return visit.

Tranquil, relaxing, totally satisfying. No on-site cooking facilities so make sure you bring your own. Untreated water available to clean with or boil for drinking. Showers are free but solar so only use during peak sun hours. Beautiful and very clean compostable toilets. Sites are excellent. Fire pot at every site, wood available to purchase. Owners are lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Beautiful rivulet by the campsites. Moderately priced.

We absolutely loved this camping ground. It’s environmentally organized with lovely trees planted for privacy, plenty of turning space for caravans, safe fire pits, and even a small shopping cupboard at the entry with local fresh produce and eggs at very cheap prices. Thank you Sally for sharing your gorgeous property and space. We can highly recommend as the prettiest camping ground in Tassie!

A lovel area, great size camp site
With the exception of two families that could not control thier children, it was a perfect 3 nights. Far enough away from everything, yet still close enough at the same time. The river is beautiful on a hot day and we had the amazing opportunity to witness the mating dance of two adult platypus. Would absolutely go back. Sally is lovely and very easy going. The other campers and their dogs were friendly and respectful.
