Best fish ever. Light crispy batter flavoured with a subtle herb. Juicy. Easy to get to just off the main road overlooking the river. Near by the jet boat trip. Have never had fish so beautiful and tasty

We had amazing fish and chips, especially the seafood basket, enjoyed right by the river. The staff were super friendly, making the whole experience even better!

Just had a fabulous and generous feed of sensational fish chips (also calamari and potato cakes and generous portions of tartare sauce and tomato sauce). The real fish and calamari was to die for. Our party had 4 adults and 2 hungry young children. We were all well fed with a little to spare $87.00. Could not recommend more highly was better than I've had in some good restaurants.

Extremely delicious seafood! The calamari were to die for! Overall quality of the food was great and tasted fresh! The staff where extremely friendly and made the effort to make sure we had enough sauce! Overall had a great experience with Tangaroa Kai Strictly Seafood and will definitely be returning and can highly recommend! It has to be a 5/5 stars from me!

Omg. Two more votes for the best fish and chips we've ever had. We got the fisherman's basket and it was sooo good. The prawns are all garlicky. The fish was perfectly cooked and the batter stayed crispy. Great service too. Thank you!

Stopped on a whim for some fish 'n' chips by the Huon river.
Turned out to be the best decision I'd made all week. The fish was perfect, the chips-fantastic and the calimari was the best I can remember having. The two ladies staffing the van were happy, friendly and helpful.
I don't leave many reviews, but they deserve it! I wish them every success in the future. At very least so I can keep coming back.

Stoked we found this place on the Huon River. Huge serving of fish, scallops, calamari and chips in the fisherman's basket for $22. Definitely stood up to its 4.9 star review!

Had the Flake and chips. Two large serves of fresh, moist and tasty fish and a generous serve of crisp chips. Highly recommend.

Finally had fish, chips & calamari from this place after being highly recommended to us & it was wonderful! The crumbing was light as a feather & the calamari melted in my mouth. Have paid the biggest compliment by recommending it to many others. Make sure you go here and enjoy!
