Beautiful place with history of the bridge. The careful carved trees are really superb

Historic brick bridge opened in 1839. Oldest of it's type in Australia and is still in use on the main highway Devonport to Hobart

Stopped on the from hobart to launceston. Nice little spot to stop and relax. Lots of cafes around

Bridge was interesting in the construction and the wood carvings beside the bridge were beautify (so skilfully done). Interesting how the top slabs of stone are held in place with steel cleats or pins?

Beautiful tree carvings in a beautiful town. Perfect spot to have a bbq. The bridge is amazing and there's a good read just near it.

Tasmania's oldest red brick bridge, different in construction to Richmond and Ross Bridges. Worth pulling over either side of the bridge and exploring with nearby play ground and sculptures.
