Westerway Raspberry Farm

Loved my time here. We (two of us) picked approx 2kg worth of mixed berries and happily tried some along the way to make sure we were picking sweeter berries. When not 100% ripe, they are quite bitter. We spoke to a couple of pickers that worked there, who gave us some tips re: bigger bead size being sweeter, etc. Recommend the cherry & raspberry ice cream afterwards, esp on a warm day - delicious!

Picking berries is fun, and then eating berry-flavoured ice cream is more fun. Enjoyable experience and inexpensive.

Lovely place to stop off and pick your own berries or just buy some if you don't want to. We had an ice cream and decided to buy some blueberries, strawberries, and of course raspberries.

We had a great time here. Picked some berries and ate even more. $5 entry and you can snack as you go. Works out cheap for quality berries, very tasty.

So many berries!!! Good that most of the entry is pay for what you pick.
Nice little shop to pick up some hand cream, gin or jam as well.

we didn’t choose to pick our own but we did enjoy our quick stop. we grabbed a mixed pack of berries and a kilo of frozen raspberries. they do accept card which is nice since the smaller berry stops don’t. lots of options here including icecream and coffee and other products made from berries such as juice, syrup, jams and jellies

Oh my goodness!!!! Must do this because the produce is so delicious!!! I don’t know how I will eat this all before I go!!!

Great place! The staff is super friendly.
We can take our own fruits and even taste them.
In the shop you have jams, honey, alcool etc etc and it’s really affordable. I recommend it !

A must stop! Delicious berries and very reasonable prices. In addition to the usual raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, and blueberries, they also had Sylvan berries, tayberries and josterberries. Josterberries are INTERESTING and not at all berry-like. Definitely give them a try!

Have done berry picking at a few places now and this one is by far the best. Good range of berries and easy to access. $5 to pick and then $17/kilo. Range of blackberries, boysenberries (our fave), silvanberries, and the standard strawberries and raspberries. Good range of jams and ice cream once you’re done too!

Delicious fresh berry farm in an easily-accessible location. I purchased 3 tubs of berries rather than going in to pick them myself
(Blackberries + blueberries + raspberries) for less than $20
They also offer delicious hot drinks, ice cream and a wide variety of cold drinks including ciders and berry-infused water from their own yard

Lovely place to stop over and pick berries! We picked some strawberries as the other berries were not riped. Strawberries were really sweet!

Stopped for some berry picking on our way from Derwent Bridge to Hobart. It was raining on arrival but we headed out in our rain coats. Lots of fun. Friendly helpful staff. $5 entry per person then $18kg for whatever you pick. Heaps of delicious raspberries.

So much fun! Definitely a bucket list moment and the berries fresh from the vines in the warm sun were so delicious! Thank you for a wonderful opportunity.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the fresh fruits! The strawberries taste much better than those in woolies. $5 entry fee per person and $16 per kilo for what you picked on your own. You could also have ice cream in the shed. Me and my friends had a wonderful time there ~
