Super yummy. Large menu without compromising on quality. The garlic truffle bread was amazing. Our table ordered the pasta dishes and the lamb cutlets. Generous serving sizes.

Excellent atmosphere! Honestly i found better Italian food here than in Rome. Everything was cooked to high standards, generous portions. Staff friendly and attentive to our needs. You can see and feel the Italian hospitality at Papagallo! Can't wait to go back and try different dishes.

Tried both their pizzas and the Raviolis. The Burrata pizza I had was light and airy. I was happily surprised by the freshness and quality of the ingredients. It was good to the point where everything was just right, although not enough to wow-me.

Their Raviolis I asked them as takeout to try later, and they were so seductive that they didn't last the drive home + 5 min. Seriously, the where loaded with duck tastiness to the best of their ability.

The place itself looked nice and elegant, with a lot of charm provided by their very goodlooking host and front of staff personnel.

Went last night for dinner and wow, the food was really good, generously portioned and felt very authentic.

All of the staff were so friendly and attentive as well with meals and drinks served quickly.

Great value for money too, would highly recommend.

The food was amazing! We started off with their garlic bread entree, which was really good, I had the prawn and cherry tomato pasta special, not only was it super delicious, but they didn’t skimp out on the prawns.

They were also very accommodating to my friend, who was vegetarian, she didn’t see anything vegetarian on the menu that she liked but once she told waiter, he was happy enough to get the chefs to make a specialty dish, which was a spinach ravioli with pumpkin purée, which she loved.

We then finished with a delicious tiramisu, which was creamy, but not too sweet.

Fantastic food and excellent service. Definately recommend, loved the pizza, best ravioli I think I've ever tasted, garlic bread was great and the mussels al coccio was amazing.
Wait staff are friendly and helpful, place was really busy but service never suffered.
It'll be my new favourite pizzeria for sure.

Even though everyone in our party ordered the same dish, we were all more than satisfied with the meal. We had a seafood pasta bowl that came with a pizza dough lid that was browned in the pizza oven. Let me say that the opening of the dish was incredibly dramatic with many open mouthed gasps. As exciting as the reveal of the dish was, the food more than surpassed the surprise. It was so delicious. Beautifully smooth tomato sauce smothering handmade pasta and generous amounts of seafood that tasted even better when scooped up in the bread. Had we known how big the portion was, we probably would have ordered one bowl and a salad.
For starter the arancini were so tasty and the prawn pizza was excellent.
Also, the service beats almost any other restaurant in Perth. The staff were attentive, friendly, approachable and knowledgeable (it helps to be Italian in an Italian restaurant) without being too familiar. They walked the balance perfectly.
We will definitely be going back.

Had a really good time at Pappagallo. Food was excellent - we had the pappardelle ragu to share and it was perfect (no photo), the steak was medium-rare as requested, and the radicchio salad was very nice with the gorgonzola cheese. We had two pizzas done perfectly, fluffy dough with nice edges. All in all a great experience. We also had two desserts, frittle and tiramisu, they were done well but ordinary. Service was friendly and welcoming. Big thumbs up for most food being house made. Will definitely come back again.

Last minute early dinner booking Saturday night for
hubby and I was a great experience! Pizza and pasta was delicious, amazing flavours & cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was good, although I would have preferred our table a little more than an arms length from the next table with another couple.

Did you know that pappagallo means parrot in Italian? Now that I flexed my Italian, don't ask me why, but it certainly rolls off your tongue, just inversely how the pizzas here will magically roll in to your mouth. Small things done right with the right ingredients. The staff are all Italian and listening to them is like listening to Pavarotti hitting the right notes. Probably a good idea to make a booking in advance though, cos everybody in town knows this place by now.

Service is always 10 out of 10. Staff are very welcoming and lovely. Ragu and tiramisu always hit the spot.

We visited on Friday evening for family dinner. The service was really nice by the lady, going above and beyond expectations. I shared customer experience with my team members.

Room For Improvement:
1) It may be rare someone asking for hot water to drink, but if someone does; please make sure that quality of water is good.

We always order truffle garlic bread but because it is soooo delicious we never get a chance to take a photo!
We order Cavatelli alla vastese. I barely order sea food in restaurants (because of the smell) but it was a great challenge for me. I enjoyed my meal a lot, it was very well cooked!
Panna cotta was good too.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pappagallo, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for what would be a fantastic afternoon.

This was our second visit to Pappagallo and yet again we were more than satisfied with the dishes we ordered.

The service was impeccable; the staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the food they were serving.

Pappagallo is a gem of an Italian restaurant that offers not just a meal, but a culinary experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine and a memorable dining experience. We will definitely be returning!

Outstanding! Authentic italian food made with fresh ingredients, and ever so tasty! Excellent customer service. I really enjoyed our meal and time here. I highly recommend this restaurant as a place to dine for a quality Italian meal. I would be brave enough to say this was the best Italian fare I've eaten in Australia in my lifetime so far.

We popped out as a family on Monday night for a casual dinner and I was pleasantly surprised at how busy the restaurant was! I wasn’t expecting it to be booming on a Monday night but it absolutely was! Food was incredible and the service was flawless. We were eating pretty quickly - which is great when you have hungry kids (and adults for that matter!). Looking forward to going back.

About 200 metres beyond the main Leederville strip but still a great atmosphere with friendly Italian staff and good food. Plenty of space with seating in several different areas inside and under-cover alfresco. Prices are fair but not cheap if you include drinks as there’s no BYO allowed in the evening.
All things considered it’s a great choice!
