South Beach

Spectacular beach for a family outing. Just 2 hours drive from Adelaide. Water is soo shallow where the kids can enjoy.

We stayed at Moonta Bay for a couple of days and made the 5 minute trip to Port Hughes a couple of times. The views, the geology and the small critters under the jetty are fascinating.

Great beach for fishing you can catch all types of fish from king fish to whiting. You can also catch squid and crabs.

Such a stunning beach and perfect for family's as there is hardly any seaweed or rocks just pure sand and clear water

One of the best safe beaches on the yorke peninsula.

Great beach, world class. Water was like a warm bath. Expect to share your swim in water that's crystal clear with schools of fish, from flathead, Tommy ruff and whiting, great time. We hit the jetty that night and cleaned up on a feed of squid in less than an hour.

Best kept secret

Amazing beach! Really great for swimming, it's shallow for a long way out and the shallow bits are warm (on hot days at least). You can walk along the beach for ages too, it's really long.

Amazing clear water. Shallow at the start so perfect for dogs as well. Very picturesque. A must do when in YP.
