Words can't describe the attention and care you receive from Dr. Chris and his clinic. I feel very fortunate to have found such a good doctor that cares for everyone and always has the time and the energy to dedicate to all in our community. Bless him always!

A wonderful family run medical centre who take a personal interest in your concerns. Chris has been my family GP for years - experienced and easy to talk to.

Professional, clean, efficient and they do know what they are talking about and are not afraid to write up a referral.

My mother tried to book for an appointment for general skin check up when Mary rejected her request within 3 minutes of the phone call based on the reason being the clinic has reached its full capacity. I called in the next day for the exact request and find no resistance, when I specifically asked if the clinic has reached its client capacity, Mary said no, I was more than welcome to book in with them. My mother vocally being recognised as an Asian woman, was the only difference to be distinguished between these two calls. When I confronted Mary on the phone for being racially exclusive to my mother on the day before, I was hit with an immediate aggressive deny. My understanding from her behaviour is that she knew enough to be ashamed, yet not enough to bravely admit and apologise for this behaviour. This truly shows the power of racism, the kind of racism and mistreat this ethnic family may have experienced, is now being passed on by the second immigrant generation to my mother, who is a first-generation immigrant. She may not speak English with an Australian accent; it doesn’t deny her basic right as an Australian. She moved to this country hoping for a better life for herself and her child, worked decades in the healthcare system as a dedicated nurse. She brought me up as a single mother with limited income, yet she never complained about being mistreated, instead taught me to appreciate the opportunity living in our beautiful country and constantly remind me to give back. In fact, I became an engineer working on infrastructure jobs because of her reminder. Being denied for a basic access to the health system based on her race (distinguished by her beautiful accent which In fact tells her story and her culture) is simply NOT ACCEPTABLE. I’m not writing this to shame you, this has to stop cause the pain racism spreads goes onto generations, it’s fuelled by this kind of behaviour, day-in-day-out, if you’ve ever being a victim of it or witness it or establishing it even unconsciously, aren’t you tired of it?!
I hope you find the courage to face what’s being done, realise that when you open your door to the community, it is Australia you are opening it to. The country that’s built on the hard work put in by generations of immigrants, who want nothing more than just being treated as equals. So please, treat us as equals.
