Best Wagyu BBQ buffet in Perth. The meats are the best quality …. very tender and juicy. Staffs are very friendly. Going there at least once a month.

A little spot, so it can get quite crowded. But the food is so good so that's expected.
Enjoyed the standard menu for dinner and it was great. The meat is really good quality and the sides are well done as well.
The salad was more like coleslaw and more cabbage than anything. And I think we got the fan that didn't really work, so I did get smoke in my eyes once because they also leave the door open.
Overall, really tasty, great value, great variety.

Fair price for all you can eat, make sure to order enough serves. E.g. if 5 people, order "5 serves of Loin" to get enough!

Came for lunch, the meat that came with Premium Wagyu Rib set was divine. Super tender and rich, just delicious on a charcoal grill. The rest of the set was pretty bland, and disappointing there was no dressing on the shredded cabbage.
Service was friendly, but very slow and inattentive, and no water or tea was offered. Other tables all had bottled water, and it seems you need to pay for water.

Came back to try the $60 premium wagyu buffet, it was absolutely fantastic! Service was speedy and efficient, and the meat was so good. Incredible value. Staff were super friendly and even encouraging us to order more food, which is a first for buffet restaurants. They'll let you know when your 90 minutes is up with a final call for orders, and you can order multiple things at once. Staff were so speedy getting our orders out though, that we were super full and feeling satisfied in less than an hour.
Our favorite was the premium wagyu rib, the loin was also quite good, as were the mushrooms - they were king oyster mushrooms! Also tried the egg soup - very comforting, and the seaweed salad - mostly cabbage and not that much seaweed, but the dressing was very tasty so would recommend to offset the richness of the meat. There's also a negi-shio paste you can ask for as a side dipping sauce, it will blow your mind. Green tea mochi icecream to finish at the end was also quite nice.

We've been back 3 times for the $60 Premium Wagyu Buffet now, including once for lunch (10% discount for lunch), and it's been consistently excellent, high quality marbled wagyu with consistently speedy service. Highly recommend!

The food is perfect, chicken karaage is my favorite and the taste is so good. Premium loin is another thing must try, the quality of the beef is so great.

Cosy little restaurant in the corner. Food is delicious and comes out quick. The Wagyu ribs are my favourite. Will come again.

Friendly staff, Smokey environment (as any yakiniku place should be like, but remember hide your sweaters and down jackets). Ordered the yakiniku set with wagyu rib and harami, includes rice, cabbage salad, kimchi, marinated vege, soup, and watermelon for 19.90. Good value and fresh ingredient. I'd recommend the wagyu harami, not so much the rib (too lean), although it doesn't matter if you're doing AYCE. Would come again.

PS. Their take out bento is also to die for.

I used to frequent Eat Me Ramen in this same shop, but I welcome the change to Gyu-En. The restaurant is a Japanese grill-at-your-table BBQ buffet restaurant, but they have Al La Carte too. The taste and value was great and the food was fresh. I look forwards to returning again. You may wish to call and reserve a table as they don't have many tables and they get full pretty quickly.

Amazing service and even better quality food, the wagyu is some of the best in Perth, we paid $65 per person for all you could eat, Definitely worth it

I went with my friends and had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, and although I haven’t tried the other all-you-can-eat sets, based on my experience, I strongly recommend the premium set. Another positive points were the staff, they were super friendly, and the fact you can bring your own alcohol (I think we paid 3$ per person). One negative aspect was that they don’t have a toilet for the customers, instead, you have to use one around the corner, but considering it’s a small restaurant, it would be unfair to give them a bad review because of this.

Their wagyu beef are amazingly good quality, really love the karaage chicken it’s so crispy and flavourful👍👍 definitely will come back with family and friends

Great dinner place in the city, went for the $40pp option and the options were not limited at all and happy with the wide variety of selection of meat. Friendly staff and good quality wagyu and various meat. Highly recommend the wagyu rib fingers, rib with bones and harami. Note there is a strict 2 hour limit dine in policy

Their lunch sets are at a great price point for the portion and quality of meats, along with the grilling experience. I ordered a $17.90 two-meat set for Gyu-tan (tongue) and harami, with a total of 10 slices of meat. The set came with namul, kimchi, miso and rice. Staff is also friendly and easy to talk to. I definitely recommend this place for all, and would love to try their $39.90? Wagyu buffet for weekends. Insane!

Had the premium package. Food was delicious and good portions. They provide you an initial amount and then you can get more if you feel like it to avoid wastage

I've heard of this Wagyu beef buffet at Gyu-En for a while. It's on my list to try, and we decided to go and try. It's my first time at Gyu-En, so I've decided to order the Standard all you can eat. The highlight of the menu was wagyu rib, loin, harami and rib finger. We love what we ordered. The next time when I am going to Gyu-En, I will be ordering the premium all you can eat menu. It has a broader selection of premium wagyu beef that I will be keen to try that next.
