It’s one of two venues in Chinatown 🇨🇳Northbridge that’s open 6 days a week until the early hours of the morning.

Nowhere else in Perth can you get a restaurant open with real food other than the iconic Uncle Billy’s from 5pm - 4am.

They’re only closed on Tuesday & then you can go to the other side of Chinatown to City Garden that is open 5-2.30am😉.

Sizzling tofu with salted fish and sichuan boiled beef are so good! Perfect for late night hearty meals :) the shop can be a bit noisy sometimes though.

Uncle Billy's Chinese Restaurant in Perth is an absolute classic and a family favourite of mine. It's been our go-to spot for every special occasion. The soft shell crab there? Incredible! It's crispy, flavourful, and just melts in your mouth. And if you're visiting, you've got to try the Peking Duck – it's a game-changer with its perfect blend of crispy skin and tender meat. The atmosphere is always buzzing, making every meal feel like a celebration. Highly recommend Uncle Billy's for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with some seriously good Chinese food!

Incredible food every time. No-nonsense service: quick and efficient with minimal talking. Wait staff saw that we had ordered crawfish and brought over a bowl with warm lemon water and extra napkins for our soiled fingers. Simply cannot fault the food either.

Open late, good prices large servings and you can get take home/ take away.

Very tasty, loved the special fried rice and the lemon chicken.

This place is honestly a Perth icon. If you’re looking for an authentic cheap eats Chinese place, this is it.

Eve of the Chinese new year only place to be in the heart of Chinatown with dear friends, cool drinks, hot food watching the dragon and lions dancers perform to the smell and sound of loud fire crackers. Go the green dragon! Crazy busy night and the staff and team at Uncle Billy's were doing their best.

Food was really delicious and well cooked. Very impressed to find good cantonese food in Perth. Interior decor was old like those in hong kong but who cares when the food tastes this good. Had the fried intestines which is really hard to find.

One of the popular hang out place for students looking for late night dinners. The food has been consistently good all these years. We had the stir fried kangkung with fermented bean curd, jer jer chicken and steamed pork mince with salted fish. The dishes came with steamed rice. We left with happy faces and satisfied tummies.

The iconic lady is not there anymore, this restaurant without her is not the same we miss the mama !!! Thank you to her for feed us for so many years . We will miss you for ever .

Nice food and lovely kind staff to let us sit at next door bar to wait for our take out at late night, when the bar was closed. And the staff kept their eyes on our order was ready or not, kept updating us with waiting time.

Good Chinese food, prices are a little high for a Chinese restaurant but worth it for the 4AM closing time. Sizzling Japanese tofu is great, would recommend. Mei cai cou rou (pork with pickled vegetables claypot) wasn't authentic - not enough of the pickled vegetable, not authentic flavour - but tasted nice as a normal stewed pork dish.
Rice $2.20 per person, card surcharges under $35.

I usually come after a boozy night, and over the years build a relationship with the lady owner behind the counter. There are a few must order in this place. On the weekend, this place is packed till the small hours of the morning

The food at Uncle Billy’s was absolutely delicious!! We got 4 dishes for $75 pretty reasonable price too.
