Orion Cafe

I went to Yanchep Lagoon today with my husband for some much needed time out. I trekked up the beach to treat him to some fish and chips and I was super impressed. The lovely young lady that served me was great, there were tables in the shade to wait (not long even) and the young man who made the food and brought it out was very nice. He even packed my food so I could carry it back down the beach. We then enjoyed our amazing food overlooking the ocean. We spent 10 hours at the Lagoon today and our little lunch break was a very welcome and very delicious part of a beautiful day. Thank you 🙏🏻💕

Great little cafe, currently under renovation and works. Small kitchen and coffee still available. Playground still accessible. Area under works well fenced. Still has seating and the side of hot chips was the best after a swim at yanchep lagoon.

Yeah returned to this wonderful cafe again today. Still one of the best cafe's in Perth. Also known as the Yanchep Beach Lagoon Cafe. Great food awesome friendly service and such an incredible view. Great coffee and a fantastic play area for the kids. Very highly recommend. Five stars are not enough.😄

Great food,service and views.
I live local to this cafe and visit regularly for my meals, the service is faultless and the food is better than you would find from most inner city cafes. The atmosphere inside the cafe is very casual and relaxing with plenty of local paintings etc that can be purchased.
Another great thing about this cafe is it overlooks the magnificent Yanchep lagoon and in the afternoons you can sit down to a coffee or dinner and watch an amazing sunset.
Well worth a visit it really is one of Perths hidden gems.

Absolutely beautiful morning, best view, lovely fresh food and happy staff. It was very busy but everyone was happy to enjoy the view and chat. Did not take to long for meal to arrive, which was so good considering how busy they were

Excellent coffee and fresh juices, shared the pancakes between two of us and it was amazing. Really nice staff and fast service.

Haven't been here for many years and wow how much better is this place. Although I visited during covid-19 they were really well organised and great to see a business well organised on ordering food and drinks and then waiting outside for them to bring you your order. They also carry/stock on hand lactose free milk for those people who are lactose intolerant. They have meals, cake, tea/coffee and soft drinks as well as ice cream. Meals are limited due to Covid-19.

You’d be forgiven for expecting a Chico roll that’s been in the heater all day from the outside, but that’s also unfair. It’s old school Yanchep. What isn’t old school is the food. We went for a snorkel at the lagoon which was awesome. The food from Orion was even better. Barramundi to die for as was the salad. And the calamari. These people know their seafood. They buy quality ingredients and they know how to cook it. Will be a post snorkel staple every time we head up!

Great food and gorgeous location. FOH staff always seem run off their feet with the barista flat out making coffees and taking orders too!

Always love coming here the food is good and service is great 😊 if you like something healthy or guilty after a hearty swim down at the lagoon or fisherman’s hollow which btw are two completely different spots (Wish I’d known before) Nevertheless this café sits bang in the middle of both these gorgeous swim spots and has a quick and speedy service.

I arranged for my car club to have a sunset dinner here. We turned up with twice the number booked for and the staff quickly accommodated us. Everyone was really happy with their dishes, which arrived promptly!

Service is great and the place has a nice energy to it. The BLT and ham and cheese croissants are great, and the fresh orange juice was delicious! Table was cleared promptly and the girls serving are lovely :)

Ok so got down to the cafe 11 am on a sunny Sunday 6/8 Aug no wind and it was packed. I was alone with my two pups so gave up my seat to a party of four and sat down at a table reserved in the sun.
I was told that the table was reserved for a couple of entitled so and so”s at 12 pm and was gobsmacked that the cafe would hold a table for an hour in peak hour conditions at the expend of locals trying to get a table.
I had eaten my meal and coffee and was gone by 11.30 am. The table next to me was then set up reserved and even had cutlery and paper towels out when the staff who delivered my meal couldn’t be bothered giving me cutlery with it and forgot my coffee order.

Best breakfast & coffee ever. I had the mushrooms with garlic pesto, avocado, wilted spinach & soft poached egg. Was absolutely delicious. Took our little dog along & they were very accomodating. Very busy with lots of locals, a good sign of quality cafe right beside the beach. Highly recommend the Orion Cafe.

Been to this cafe a few to many times now and love it. Great service the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food we've had is always cooked perfectly with great portion sizes for the price you pay. The scenery is ON as and the cafe has really great vibes. The coffees and smoothies are delish. We love eating here.

This is our local go to amazing view i could watch every day, coffee is great & food is always on point, staff with amazing customer service are also what makes this place, wifi options would be great to work from here & also for others to be able to post where they are to showcase to more people how amazing it is
