Lake Albert Motel

This motel is run by a very friendly couple. The rooms are clean and comfortable and has everything you'd expect and need from a motel. The area is pretty quiet and at night the sky is beautiful - I saw the Southern Cross for the first time in my life here. There's a pretty nice cafe next door for breakfast before you head on your way as well.

Great location near the shops and cafes and across from the park and the lake. Easy to pickup and drop off the key. Rooms and bedding very clean and good size. Decor hasn't changed much since the 70's, but I enjoyed it!

Great motel...friendly owners...clean rooms..very comfortable bed...good amenities microwave, tea /coffee,fridge with small freezer space......under cover BBQ area....and well priced...

Lovely staff and the rooms were very clean. Very comfy beds, we had the room with spa bath and it was good size bath. We had the room on the road over looking the Albert lake (not busy road). Free parking. Loved walking around and looking at the sunsets. Few good cafe options around. Overall a perfect weekend stay. Will be back again soon :)

A lovely motel, very nice clean rooms and the staff were excellent.

Lynn and Mark were great hosts, we enjoyed our stay in this motel and to have a chat to them. It's pretty basic but super clean and offers everything you need for a stopover in Meningie. Recommend the Meningie hotel for food and the bakery next door for brekkie and coffee

The absolute nicest owners, extreamly helpful and friendly. I cannot believe the price for how nice the accommodation was! Very comfortable bed, ample parking, great location. Cannot recommend enough.

Excellent budget accommodation. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds with crispy clean linen. Couldn't ask for any more :)

Clean and tidy rooms with complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits.
Microwave, kettle and fridge as standard with the rooms.

Will stay again when next passing through.

Great overnight stop, room clean and provided everything we required. One little issue, the smoke alarm, acknowledged that they are required by law but I Thought over the bed was distracting, other than that very happy

Stayed for 2 nights in room no. 3 with my partner and we were very happy with the motel. Room was nice and clean and neat. Theres free wifi but it didnt work 100% well from our room but obviously not the owners fault, its just internet. One of the owners we spoke to is very friendly. Only turn off was we had to use bathroom sink to wash dishes etc. But for $98 a night cant get any better than that. Will be back in the future if we're around Meningie.

We had a great stay and would be happy to return. Rooms recently updated and new owners have put a lot of work and thought in to the upgrades and additions they have completed. So easy to walk everywhere.

Lovely room, exactly as pictured. Friendly staff. Fantastic location. We will stay again. Great Cafe next door 'My Friend's Cafe' for breakfast and dairy free/gluten free options.

We had a spa room which faces the lake. And it's was fantastic. Lovely couch to sit and look at lake. Bed comfortable. Very, very clean. Lady who runs reception friendly and flexible.

Very nice staff ... I had a great room with an extremely comfortable bed. Lake Albert is on the other side of the road (see pic). Three minute walk to all the shops you'll need.

Friendly and very helpful staff. A comfortable and convenient place to stay near the Coorong. In particular, I have an electric car and the staff assisted me with organising overnight charging which was a lifesaver!
