Stick-Tomato Cave

We chose Stick-tomato cave amongst other caves because of the little time we had. My son had a great time as it was his first time to be inside a cave. Me and my family really enjoyed it.
Staff are also very friendly and I highly recommend visiting it.

Went on a Monday so it was nice and quiet.
Stairs down are quite steep.
Kids loved it as well as us parents. Had been on the list to get to for a while.
Will be back to do some of the other caves.

Stick-Tomato Cave is the only cave you can visit without a guide - easy self-guided walk with an automated lighting system. This is a cave to be enjoyed by all ages but needs to be careful during summer - a brown snake usually spotted during this time.. 20 steps leading down into the cave. Naracoorte caves offers a package for Novice and Advance Caving adventures to explore that little bit more!!

After Alexandra cave, that is a good cave to visit

Great cave to visit without any guide. Great for kids.

100% a cave. Cooler than Thea's hat. The timeless, thought provoking caverns may result in an existential crisis and lead to retirement from corporate life.

Good cave and you can go by yourself without a tour guide. Cheapest one also if you are on a budget. Worth a look

The cheapest of the caves here to enter and no tour guide required which is great when you're visiting and it's not aligned to a tour time. Still amazing and worth having a look.

Interesting, different to any other caves we've been in. You explore it on your own.

Beautiful little caves

Was a really good cave to see without a guide. Purchase a ticket and enter the cave at your leisure.

The cave exceeded my expectations, not that I expected much from the cheapest cave, mostly dry, the surface already damaged and devoid of any feature careless visitors could damage.
The path spirals under itself and away. Even though dried up, there are stalactites, stalagmites, columns, flows and shawls.
The best part is finding a hole in one of the features and sticking one's head in for a funny photo.
Also there is a plant growing on the entry shaft that looks like might be the stick tomato.
